On my weekly picks I took the Colts plus the points.

Our third down D was atrocious.

7-1 isn't bad. And we have 5 of last 8 at home.

It's not enough that our defense has played like shit today. Now they want to act like shitheads. I expect more both in how they play and how they conduct themselves. Take the loss and the huge dose of humiliation. The team lost to an inferior opponent and with how crowded at the tope the AFC is they have no margin for error. 7-1 with an embarrassing loss. They have a lot to do to redeem themselves from this.

The Colts own the Broncos of late and there is no way around that. It's a fact.

True enough. The Colts are a vastly inferior team than the Broncos. They were in January and they were today. But they won both games. Something about this team gets in the Broncos head. They lose their minds, they lose their composure and they lose the game.

At least in the Plummer years when the Broncos were getting beat up by the Colts it was a good Colts team doing it.

I won't go that far yet. If the team learns from this humiliating game they can be dangerous. If they do not utterly dominate the Chiefs next week (56-0 would be good) I'll be disappointed.

Andrew Luck has been a turnover machine this year and we couldn't even force 1, that speaks to how "real" this defense actually is. Not to mention 1 sack and very little actual pressure from such a great pass rush.

There's a lot to learn in losing. In many cases there's more to learn from losing than winning. The team looked awful today. The defense carried this team so far but what we saw from them today was unacceptable. Both in their lack of execution and composure. They had better get their shit together for next week.

As for the offense, another lack-luster performance. 17 points, awful run blocking and allowing too much pressure on the QB. Manning w 2 more picks. This team looked fucking bad today. Just awful. The offense had better get their shit together STAT because there are some tough outs ahead.

Let's just say if the Colts play at the Broncos in the playoffs I won't be to thrilled. Are the Broncos capable of going a game without a turnover or a stupid penalty? Is Von Miller even out there? Can't turn the ball over and get none in return and expect to win. I'm not thrilled with the Patriots and Bengals coming up if they play like this.
