His drive for perfection had Manny and Clark you know the fellers this staff said was garbage and traded off for a bag of Doritos as the # one OL unit in 2013 ...

So I guess it has nothing to do with 4 new players on the OL, new scheme/playbook, young guys at 3 of those positions, they have had very few practices where all 5 actually practiced together, injuries to 3 of the starting OL players. I could keep going but this goes beyond just Gibbs not being here. Yes I wish we had him here working with these guys but I think even with him here we would still see some of the struggles we have seen so far this year. This will be a huge week of practice for this unit as this is the first time all of them have been full participants from day 1 of the week.

This staff just needs to stop D's from Crashing the pocket . make them pay for not holding that second at DE spot .. you do that this O will start to roll .. Ok let me explain this a bit. These are two very entirely different styles of offense trying to mesh. Both have shown great success in this league. The problem has been trying to figure out what all this offense can do in either system. Going from a Tom Moore system that he helped design with Peyton that is more a spread them out read the defense and have everybody on the same page seeing the defense the same then choosing routes based on what everybody sees to now trying to mesh in some of the West Coast Offense to help build up a better run game is no easy task. The language for the two offenses is very different and what they do against certain defenses is very different as well. Right now it looks like Manning is seeing things very differently than the others. This would be like trying to teach somebody that when you turn the handle bars on a bike one way it goes the opposite of what it used to. It takes time to get everything and everybody on the same page. I'm not sure how well it will happen this year. This might be a year where we have to just hope for the best and then see this offense that Kubiak really wants to run come to life next year.

The good thing is We still can pull this off ! it starts with the Smoker Screen and all the other screens we got most will help the OL get the DE to respect that something might be coming his way so they have to pull up some ...this also helps the Running Game .

So I know this idea is going to be way out there and probably the chances of this happening are like 1% but they were saying today on the NFL Network that there are some major disagreements going on in Indy of whether Luck is their QB of the future. If he continues to struggle this year I could see them struggling to give him top dollar moving forward. Now yes they can exercise his 5th year option just to give him another year with most likely a new coach to turn things around but I just wonder if Elway could come up with a package to send to Indy and bring Luck here to Denver. Again very small chance this happens as I can't see Indy wanting to trade with Denver especially a Stanford QB as that did not end well last time.

Agree that the chances of this are very slim but I would be one Bronco fan that would welcome Andrew Luck to the Orange and Blue with open arms. Unfortunately, ain't gonna happen.....

Before this terrible season by Luck I would have put it at 0%. Him struggling and hearing that inside the organization they are in a huge disagreement of who Luck is and not wanting to give him one of the biggest contracts in NFL history makes me think there is a small chance. I could see Elway figuring out someway to make a deal or as soon as he hits the open market Elway being his first call. When you throw in all the connections between Elway and Luck I would think we would sky rocket to the top of the list of teams that would get Luck.
