We will extend Williams and Kerrigan. Assuming Robinson proves he is the real deal with another good year, he will be locked up before FA next year. Morris is a maybe at this point. KC is most likely gone.

They look like their heading into a tough offseason with their 2 best players coming up and a big contract with Griffin's 5th year option. On top of that they have one legit NT working on a one year deal.

Just read an article that we could be at 58 million under the cap next year. That counts the releases of JAckson, hatcher, Hall, Gholsten, and Roberts. The only must have guys that should be back next year are KC, Robinson, and Pot Roast. Maybe Morris the jury is still out on him. This is some great news. I believe Garcon, Jackson, and Gholsten should all restructure. Hatcher, Hall, and Roberts should all be gone in 2016.

The future looks bright for us especially if KC works out.

I would like to see us take the same approach as last year: smart signings for players who are young and healthy.

We need to find long term solutions at both safety positions, nickel CB, and NT. We need to shore up ILB and continue to build the offense with playmakers. I want us to continue to draft the BPA at a position of need in the draft unless Cousins falls on his face and then we must draft a QB with that #1 pick. We simply need to continue and add more depth.

Eric Berry from KC is a FA next year. He is young and could be a target. Robinson and Nacho are FA next year and Gholsten could get released b/c of his contract.

You got it! In fact look at the last two WR signing that SM has made to the PS. They are literally giants in relation to what we currently have. If nothing else SM is sticking to his own vow.......younger, bigger, more athletic. Can't see him getting off of that unless there is someone who has become a FA and has a bit of age to him but still is technically at prime performance level. (ex: C. Johnson)

Now that whole Cousins thing is something else.

With that logic Sty you think SM will cut both Jackson and Garcon? Wont happen. I think they will both restructure. If you can add Eric Berry to this team in FA you go get him. He is young and good. He will get the money but I think he is worth it.

You would have to think KC will only get better with Jax back in the lineup and it should help Garcon/Crowder out a lot. IF KC finishes strong this year it would be huge. I think he will b/c he finally has all of his weapons back. Plus if he does it without a running game more power to him.

Unfortunately there isn't a QB coming out next year that is worth a low round #1 pick, IMO. There are a couple that could be projects,, but they should go in later rounds and won't be ready to start for a few years. It appears to be a really bad draft year for QBs. Just our luck.

Not low 1st round worthy, IMO. But some desperate team might be willing to trade up to get them. It happens every year.

Slow down. Haven't you learned anything this season? I have stated before that Cousins is the Redskins only option for the remainder of this season assuming he is healthy. However - that doesn't also mean that he is a given as their QB of the future. It was only a week ago when many folks were ready to run him out of town (fair or not).

Let's see this play out before coming to any conclusions on the QB position. There is still a lot of football to be played and objectively speaking this could go in many different directions.

From what I read Goff is a top 10 pick and Cook in a mid to late first rounder. If your Houston do you really pass on Goff? I don't think so. Getting off topic here guys.

Houston is where I see RG3 ending up.

I agree socal but I am projecting that he will get better b/c he will have better players around him. KC might have 25-30Tds total and we could be a 8 win team. Im very excited.

I would think Obrien would want a pocket passer for a QB not RG3. For what its worth they are comparing Goff to Rodgers b/c of the Cal thing.

I hope that you are right. However - it could turn out much different than that. You cannot simply base a lot of Cousins play on not having all his weapons or a poor running game. He was to blame for quite a bit of the issues. Now - he may learn from these mistakes & minimize them moving forward, but we can't assume anything at this time.

OF course you can. A good running game is a QB's best friend. It takes pressure off the QB. For example the Jets game there was way too much pressure on KC to beat the Jets defense through the air. IF he had a running game it would of been easier for him.

Did the running game force him to make that terrible decision and throw on Revis' pick? Don't think so. I am a Redskins fan - not a Cousins or RG3 fan - & try to look at this objectively.

Read my reply again. I didn't state that the running game or injuries did not contribute to Cousins' issues. What I stated was that you cannot place the entire blame on those factors. He was responsible for a lot of those problems, and he will be the first to admit that.

Again - nobody can make a legit judgement on Cousins until this season is over, and honestly nobody knows how he will play moving forward. BTW - Rodgers appears to be doing very well in spite of issues with injuries and the running game. A good QB will shine regardless. Hopefully - Cousins reaches this pt on a consistent basis real soon.

lol you are comparing KC to Rodgers? What? With no running game the QB is forced to throw 30 to 40 times a game which means more pressure on the QB which could lead to mistakes. With Jackson back it should open up the running game more. KC has proven he can lead game winning drives. He has proven that he can run Grudens offense. He would really have to shit the bed for KC not to be signed next year.

Matter of fact KC is outplaying some 100 million dollar QB's in the NFL. This is another reason why I have faith in him to succeed.
