He unfortunately is the most capable back up...so far...at the most positions.

Apparently he is not or they would not be trying to decide between 2 totally unproven players to fill a spot he should be filling.

He is able to back up more positions on the Oline, that gives him value to the team. All value is not measured by simply being able to be a starter. You need versatile backups unless your team is immune to injuries. Which we are most definitely NOT.

Yeah but my point is as you say his role is to be a valuable backup and he is clearly unable to fill that role. Otherwise he would be filling in next week.

Back up center is the real issue here. And I think ribeye will remain until that gets addressed satisfactorily to Callahans taste.

What part of we have NO Oline depth are you not getting?

So, Kory goes down during a game, who are you placing there? What about LG or RG if one of our new guys goes down? Ribeye fills that spot for now. And provides an additional roster spot to provide depth elsewhere.

Actually the guy who wins this week's competiton is the back up, the other guy would be the back up to the back up. So that leaves my boy as the back up to the back up's back up at guard and a bad back up center. And Hell we don't even know if he can play center at all.

well neither has much experience so if i were calling the shot i would go with kujo because that was his spot through the off season . i would activate long and deactivate ribeye because long can play center too
