OC- He said what Mingo said! ;)

I send him Geo's links all the time and he loves reading them. Some he has seen but a lot he has not.

You should send him the PFF one that shows he finished as the top ILB in the NFL for week 1 (depending on the final 2 games of course). He graded out as a +1 in every category for them so he was great in every area of the game. Seriously I can't believe we got this guy after being cut by the Jaguars of all teams.

I did- George (SpringStein) sent that to me last year and I forwarded it on. Made him pretty happy. His first question was "How good are these people, how good is this data".

Jaguars cutting him was a dream come true of an opportunity for B Marsh. I shared this story when I first posted here, but he had to decide between the Broncos, Jaguars and Raiders PS. He asked me for my advice and I of course gave him the way he was already leaning the Broncos. Which was his favorite team as a kid. For the record that was an honest opinion too. The Broncos were really not deep at LB at the time so nobody can say that I was just being a homer. :)

Well I appreciate you helping him out! No I do agree of all those 3 teams the Broncos definitely gave him the best chance. It was a position of need for the team so he was going to be given a chance to prove he could start but also start on a team where he was surrounded by talent that could help him out. Now he has taken that opportunity and run with it to the point that he is the man with the radio in his helmet leading the defense. Very excited to see him and Trevathan working the middle together. they should only get better as they knock some of the rust off from their injuries.

Has he clued you in at all to how his foot is holding up?

Players are always pretty quiet with injuries in releasing any info as they always seem to be "fine" when they always aren't. He did text me the day he was cleared to play this year and told me he was 100%. What is 100% I mean is anybody's foot really 100%? :) He hasn't complained about it at all so far but players always down play any lingering issues.

I was told by Rahim Moore after his leg issue that he was going to be coming back "next week" over and over. Then once the season was over he was suddenly rehabbing it in Switzerland.

Haha yeah I can see that players wouldn't want to give too much away about how they are feeling. I did see though he was wearing a boot today around the facility. They said it is more of a precaution to help him to "stay" 100% than that anything extra happened. I also saw where they asked Marshall about it and he said that on game day because of the adrenaline his foot doesn't hurt at all. I appreciate players playing through pain just hoping that him wanting to stay on the field doesn't cause issues down the line. I would much rather have him for December than September.
