He sure has.....His bat speed is down, and the breaking pitches seem to completely bedazzle him too.

Not sure what's going on with him, but he sure doesn't look like the same guy up there that he was in the 1st half.

he didnt take the entirety of the play into account and was just making generalized statements. If Goins had played it like he was suggesting he would have missed the baseball or he would have not gotten the tag on the bag and he would have been safe. I got the point he was making but he was wrong in that situation

I got the point he was making but he was wrong in that situation

I got his point too, but he picked a bad play to try and make it IMO.

Mac knows the game, and I do respect that aspect of his announcing ability.

Sorry, and although I appreciate the fact they haven't scored, Gallardo has become a consistent 5 1/3-5 2/3 pitcher, and I was/am hoping for more.

Now just watch...we'll have to use a minimum of 3 BP guys today.

And just from the pitching front, we've had the same pitching coach (Maddux) and the same BP coach (Hawkins) for many a year.

I agree.....overall, we don't play a very "heady game."
