No Napoli vs. Buehrle, wonder what MM's line vs him are. Don't have time to look at the moment
Mitch 1-6, Nap 2-27.

They may not be on the field longer on average because the pressure will lead to more turnovers. The pressure will be vastly improved in my opinion.
Moreland's average against LHP is 16 points higher than Napoli's this year. Yeah, Nap was brought in for facing LHP's but 2-27 does not inspire a lot of confidence.
But he's been hitting very well lately against LHPs, it should be Napoli, but it seems like when we question Banny lately on lineup moves the guys he plays start coming through
And our offense was anemic in Detroit. Everyone is kicking Detroit's pitching except us. Right now if I actually had a choice I would sit Fielder out 1 more game.So I ask WTF Banny?

Simon 1 hit the Rangers and didnt make it out of the 1st before giving up 4 vs the Halos
"That's the way baseball go" as was once said.
This really is one of those things (weird stats) which makes baseball a totally inexpiable game. And we see it all the time. Like how well we wore out King Felix for years.
I heard today we haven't won a series against Toronto in over two years. Is this correct? Yikes
Boy.....if you're watching the pregame, I'd have to say....."Pudge, that wasn't a very good question you just asked."
He shrugged and said, "Maybe Moreland has some good career numbers against Buehrle and this is why he's starting?" Pudge, that's some really easy research from one of the assistants and would have been prudent to have done a small amount of homework before going on camera, IMO anyway.
And for whatever it's worth......In Buehrle's last outing he only lasted 4 innings. It was just the second time in his last 18 starts that the veteran failed to complete six innings.
Saw a stat earlier where we had won like 1 game at home vs Jays in the last 3-4 hime series
I basically asked that earlier and my assistant Eph answered it right away
Very true in just when you think you got it figured out you don't."That's the way baseball go" as was once said.
