That will turn them around.
That will turn them around.
Now Wash is back to doing what he should have been doing all along if the Peter Principle wouldn't have manifested itself in his career.
Quit obsessing with what the Astros are doing and just be glad the Rangers are doing something positive.
I don't recall that, but I was only about 12 or 13 during Burroughs heyday here. It seems like they brought the fences in in the power alleys during the early to mid 70s. I remember a guy jumping down to get the ball between the old fence and the new one to retrieve a home run ball. I believe the guy broke both ankles and had to be taken out on a stretcher. You guys that were around during the Jeff Burrough days, do you remember him complaining about the fences being to far back? One game with the A's Reggie Jackson was ask about it. He responded, not if you hit them far enough. He hit two out that night. Kinda put the lid on the pot.
Everything is great as far as I am concerned. So, other than this, everything OK?
Pretty impressive...........
Andrew McCutchen has very similar numbers to the great one, Roberto Clemente, through their first 1000 games.
Right there Eph. Both are really great and Clemente was one of my all time favorites. But he played RF the majority of the time. There's no one in MLB I'd want in CF over that guy. Such a great player and person.
Who cares? We will take care of them later. Until then we got business with Toronto. Those stubborn Astros are not budging one bit.

This is encouraging to me. Cheech becomes a lot more dangerous if he has a potent put away pitch
