Man you know it has to suck to be the Pirates...they have 73 wins and will have to play in the WC game because of silly rules while the NL EAST and WEST winner will likely be 5+ games worse.

It will likely be against the Cubs, who might also have a better record than the NL West and East winner...how fucking nuts would that be?

Gotta win 1 game and hope for some help from the Yankees. It pains me to say it, but I'm a big Yankee fan tomorrow. I really want those Astros to pick up a loss. Avoid a sweep at all cost... because the O's would come in next and gladly kick us while we're down. Interesting week ahead. We will find out a lot about this team no matter what happens.

HUGE week this week against Toronto and Baltimore. Even with 39 games to go, this could be the week that decides the Wild Card.

The fact that the Rangers are winning should keep that from happening. In the last 10 games they have made up 4 games on the Angels, 2 on the Twins, 3 on the Orioles, 4 on Tampa Bay, 3 on the Tigers, 4 on the White Sox and 3 on the Indians. We have gained just 1 game on the Astros but we have the best record in the last 10 of any team in the AL. Quit obsessing with what the Astros are doing and just be glad the Rangers are doing something positive.
