And you don't want to.

Agreed. But sure hate to think we had a capable CF, cheap one at that, in our organization and we didn't even know it.

I'm hopeful Martin can get it together. But since I'm a betting guy, I wouldn't bet $10 on him ever becoming the player I thought he could, initially anyway.

Converted to CF duty eh? Shame we couldn't have seen this change in position being such a positive.

He was a little shaky out in CF and still might be. He was the one who made the final catch on Hamels no hitter and if you saw that it was quite a scary thing. Glad he is doing well for Philly since it really has no affect on us.

I didn't see that "exciting" catch. haha Did hear it was a little bit of an adventure though.

Ya know, when we make trades/moves and we lose a kid to another organization, in the vast majority of cases I like to see them succeed.

In this case, I was only thinking, if he can play a decent CF/hit for some avg, we could have used a CF in our system. We're thrilled with DeShields, I know. But we had no idea this guy was even alive until April.

On Banister's moves yesterday:

Walking the bases loaded. I liked it. Made sense. It worked. Shows Banister will take some risks. He trusts Tolleson a lot. The risk was that there's a lot more ways to score from third than second.

He pitched Tolleson in the 11th. The good was that Tolly was not under pressure and he got to air it out. He hit 96mph on his second to last pitch. I think it was good psychologically for him in a non-pressure situation.

Overall I think it was a bad decision because Tolleson had Tommy John surgery in High School and it makes no sense to put his arm needlessly into the pitch count he totaled.

I swear, it seems like if you could sit in Vegas and bet the opposite of whatever Busby's point is, you'd be Bill Gates within 24 months.

Boy, I hope that miscue doesn't bite us in the butt in the final analysis.
