I also wouldn't be surprised if Tom was on an iPhone, which does not collect the text data if he uses iMessage. That's probably why the investigators asked for screen shots. If he's using an iPhone, the messages are not retrievable from the carriers, subpoena or not. I doubt Apple keeps them at all. As far as I've heard, they have no legal obligation to do so. Law enforcement has been bemoaning this for awhile.

Wrong. Because I said all along it would get dropped to two games and that was probably not deserved as it was because there really was only evidence he wasn't cooperating, not actually a cheater. There is nothing he could have rubbed MY face in.

Now that we know he destroyed evidence, and hid that fact for 4 months all of that changed.

Wiz, I can't understand why it's only four games. Hell, I would think that lying and "destroying evidence" would at least get you a eight game suspension. IMO, Brady was lucky to get only four games.

NFL had all this time to prepare for Goodell's decision. They had the brief ready to file their cases in court to give them the edge in that too.

All this false hope by a base of fans and biased media that were sure he's innocent and would be found as such by some part of this process and that the NFLPA was sure to take the upper hand and quash anything left on the plate.

NFL came out guns blazing today from high ground. Sorry Pats fans but your hero is guilty and going down for it. He's the NFL equivalent of A-Rod. Errr A-Roid.

Hope that last tainted trophy gave you some joy, because it's the last you will see. This season will be a bust now and Brady doesn't have much left in the tank for a deep run next year. Oh, they may still win the division, but HFA is GONE. No way they make it to the AFCCG. Not happening.

They are viewing this as the same type of infraction as taking roids or adderall. It's tampering with the game to gain an unfair advantage.

That he carried that extra level of stupid and destroyed evidence and hid that fact for all that time should have carried an extra penalty, but then since when has the front office ever held that organization to fully account for all of the cheating they have brought down over the years?

Yeah, it seems the NFL front office hasn't held the Pats "fully accountable" for all of their cheating, that they have brought down over the years. I still say Brady's suspension should have been eight games for, "lying and cheating". Just my opinion!!!

I feel the same, but I think the NFL wanted to make sure the punishment wasn't over the top and went with a mild suspension. They want to make sure TB doesn't have a legal leg to stand on. The NFL really wants to win this one, unlike some other battles that were just PR moves.

He will if he is granted the injuction. NFLPA will file that tomorrow morning, then we will just have to wait and see if it's granted.

Man, the signs in the audience of every road game are going to be amazing this year I'm sure. Can't wait to see how creative people will be with it. The costumes and chants should add quite a bit of fun to those games.
