I love all of this bickering between the worst fooball conference in the Power 5. Oklahoma has had it's tail handed to them twice in the past two years by Baylor. Crummy little Baylor, who has absolutely no chance of being included into any other Power 5 Conference if the Big 12-2 broke up. The only thing Waco is known for is it's mass murders.

Now you have Texas, which is the biggest piece of caca football team in America. Texas football simply sucks. It is terrible. Another team that cannot beat worthless Baylor. A team that is 0-6 against FBS non-con teams in two years. A team that has lost it's last two bowl games by a combined score of 61-14.

What Texans do not understand is that the rest of the nation could care less about them. People view Texan's as a bunch of stuck up snobs who have to get things done their way or they whine and cry. The crap that runs the Big 12-2 allowed Texas to singlehandedly destroy the conference. Now you have to beg to get a team into the Playoff. No one cares about the RRR. When was the last time that game was played in prime time?
Texas is finished as a football power, especially with that terrible HC they are saddled with.

Texas is not wanted by any other conference. Period. They can't join the SEC because A&M would kick their worthless tails 3 times out of four. Alabama, Auburn and Arkansas would have a field day with this pathetic group of wanna-be's. The Pac 12 has already told Texas to dump their stupid Longhorn Network or kiss their arses. RRSO is one of the best college football experience's you can have- it helps when they're both nationally ranked,and it'll happen again.

There is nothing else like it. If you love CFB and have not been to one, you should put it on your bucket list.

Im more talking about the disparity between Texas and the others. The relative lack of respect for the league is a part of it for sure but the league itself is solid. Oklahoma and Kansas would benefit if only by getting away from Texas. That doesnt even mention the boon theyd get financially and recruiting wise in other sports.

For what it's worth..........

I've been to a couple of alumni functions lately and have visited with at least a hundred donors about the rumors concerning OU maybe going to the B1G. About 90% of them said "NO!" to joining the B1G. The main reasons were (a) we have no natural rivalries or connections with the B1G schools except Nebraska (who we miss a lot), (b) there's just no appetite for traveling to B1G schools during cold weather months and (c) the cultures of the B1G area and Oklahoma are not a good match. (But most people thought we'd eventually fit pretty well with the west coast schools which is interesting.) The strong preference, if a move is ever made, is for OU to go to the Pac 12 (preferably with some other Big XII schools but most importantly Texas) or go to the SEC with or without Texas or any other Big XII schools. Seems to me Boren's shitting himself if he thinks the fan base and donors would support a move to he B1G. Nobody talked the B1G down (everybody knows several teams in that conference would be a real challenge to play) but there just wasn't the desire to travel north as much as there would be to connect with a new conference to the west or southeast. Also, a big majority of the people I talked to lean against the Big XII adding any of the schools currently being mentioned with the most common comment being along the lines of "we would be settling for schools that don't come close to what we lost. It's better to wait and see what happens." One more thing: nobody wants to lose the Texas game every year.
