Mitch or Fielder should get All Star consideration.

Caught about half the game. Mitch finding his home run stroke plus great to have Josh back and Choo coming out of it. The team carrying Beltre to the break. Was a bit scared of Colby in this park. He is tailor made for those west coast parks where the balls don't carry. Think there is a chance we see Ham in CF tomorrow assuming the LHP sill on the mound. Rua might get the start then. Becoming a little less likely with 2 wins in a row. Why switch what is working. Wonder if Rua could get some time at 3rd base though. Glad to see Ranger HR power come to life regardless of the park.

Missed the game but followed it on my phone and listened to Nadel on the post game show. They said in all of Moreland's total June starts he had 7 HRs and 18 RBIs. This June he has 9 HRs and 25 RBIs.

From what I can tell by following on my phone Beltre really stunk at the plate again. Hit into 2 DPs, one with the bases loaded. Just does not have his strength back yet with that messed up thumb. Do not know what Odor did on his error but led to 2 unearned runs which I hated to hear. Not sure what Colby was throwing to Chris Davis but obviously was not throwing pitches out of the strike zone. The run support for Colby this year has been very good.

Just not focused on routine play and pull Mitch off first right before one of Crash Davis' HRs.

Rather give them the week off.
Isn't it a rule that at least one player has to be selected from each team? Wouldn't it be great for Mitch if it were him.

On the 2nd HR by Mitch, Nadel said it was a routine fly ball to LF that should be playable. Then I just heard Buzz and Tag were surprised it went out. Ball must carry well to left-center there.

Hate watching on my phone too -- especially when there is crummy bandwidth.

Yea Beltre is having to fight through recovery from his thumb injury. I'd still rather him at 3b than Gallo right now.

Think field was damp early ... Odor misplayed Jones' grounder perhaps due to slipping ... ball came up on him and he threw wide pulling Mitch off the base ... setting CD up for his first HR.

Colby threw the very same pitch to CD both times ... 4seam about belt high on the outer third. May have started off the plate and came back ... but target was down low outside. Both pitches were gone when they left his hand.

When CD gets in the zone its like he started his swing an hour ago.

Mitch going HAM in Baltimore it seems. Glad he's finally showing what he can do if he stays mostly healthy. Keep it up Mitch, cause they need you.

Rangers wise to send down Joey Gallo - SweetSpot - ESPN

Interesting piece by JJT in which he actually uses numbers to back up his point in comparing Gallo to Bryant and Pederson. He also makes a very solid point everyone should remember. That being Gallo is two years younger than his oft-compared to counterpart Bryant. Gallo is going to be a monster, but I bet he'll look far more major league ready after another 300-500 at bats at Round Rock.

Mitch may be the most indispensable player on this team right now. Though one could certainly argue Fielder is more important in the lineup.

Together they account for probably 30% of the offense I would guess. Texas would not be above .500 without either of them that's for sure.

Hamilton looked good tonight too. Pitchers are still obviously trying to get him to chase bad pitches, I think he only swung at one or two bad pitches.

I have not had a damn chance to watch a single game in the past two weeks...my schedule has not lined up at all with the games. It sucks. I am glad I missed the losing streak though. That didn't look pretty.
