It's a paradigm. Marino couldn't get it down in the playoffs Flacco can.
Its more complex then who is better... Stats Marino owns
January Flacco equals wins.
I'll put you down for: refused to answer...

Marino's teams weren't very good defensively nor did they they run the ball effectively. Marino and the passing game carried the Dolphins as far as they could. Dan Fouts was a really good QB. Could not get to Super Bowl because the Chargers D was atrocious then.
Agree. Now please change your avi, that is painful to see.

You guys paid us back in the 1990's lol.
In my opinion that play was,the beginning of the end for my boys. Hated the 9rs ever since.
I don't disagree but I also understand that plenty of great quarterbacks who are the best at their respective position haven't gone on to win the Super Bowl. I mean some of the best QB seasons in the history of the league such as Brady in 2007 and Manning in 2013 both lost yet not sure anybody could argue much that they had historical seasons and even showed up in the playoffs well at least until the Super Bowl. Honestly to win the Super Bowl a team needs some luck to go along with some great play by the entire team not just one player. Sometimes things just fall perfectly into place for a team at the right time.
Agree. I'll say it again, ultimate team sport. Put Marino on some of these other QB's teams and he'd have won many SBs. He made one in his 2nd year. Are we saying he didn't get any better as time went on and thus never made it back?
I answered u don't like it move on.I'll put you down for: refused to answer...
Ted Williams being a great hitter has zero to do with NFL QB play and the decisions made OR not made. Completely different deal.Ted Williams is one of the best to ever play the game of baseball. He has ZERO championships because his team never won the WS. Marino's teams never won, he 100% had the personal talent to do so.

and no manster, I'll pass on this many year old tap dance between us regarding the quickest release ever seen being the GOAT.
It's a picture of where Ray Lewis hid the white jacket!^is that a pic of where A. Hernandez hid his gun?
LOL! That sounds more like me than Manster! Or is Manster a Marino guy too??? I don't remember. The beauty of it is there is no right and wrong because it is all opinion. Just like the top 5 CBs and the best roster and a bunch of these other threads bouncing around. The Baltimore fan can even say Flacco is the best ever if he really feels it...
