The whole imagine this team with Wiggins is a stupid argument.

Shump and JR probably wouldn't be here without the trade. Maybe Thompson plays more minutes and has a season ending injury. There are all kinds of butterfly effect factors that come up.

So yea it sounds nice to just insert wiggins into this lineup, but we have no way of knowing how the season would've played out. Maybe wiggins would've torn an ACL, maybe LeBron and wiggins would have collided and LeBron would've have wrecked his knee/ankle.

If the trade didn't happen we could just as easily be sitting here saying "they should've made the trade"

seriously. One team has all their players and the other team is missing their 2nd, 3rd, and probably 5th/6th best players in Irving, Love Varejao

Imagine if the tables were turned- take Klay, Green, Speights off of GS and have them face a full Cavs team and this series is the most pathetically one sided Finals in NBA history. Everyone knows that. Everyone knows the Cavs only have a chance because they have Bron. No other team in the NBA could withstand losing the quality of players the Cavs have lost. I loved Jacksons and Van Gundys comments to one of the passes Bron made to Shumpert that got him a 3- no one else in the NBA could have made that pass- and it is 100% true. LeBron does things that Steph Curry could only dream of. Only reason LeBron is not MVP is because of the time he missed and voter fatigue.

Just enjoy the ride, whatever happens. Lebron does things and looks so easy at times. He gave 50 minutes last night. Back-to-back overtime games. He is giving it all up out there, especially the way he has been attacking. I have no doubts he will keep the Cavs in this series, it's just everyone has to do their part and step up. We need more scoring and the team defense needs to be relentless.

Lord how many years were you a water boy? Short guys have a hard time guarding a guy 6'5 . Curry is 6'3 and skinny. And you are comparing him to Bron? Not to mention Iggy is not a short guy.

Curry deserved the MVP. He had a great year on a great team. Bron's team didn't really come together until later in the season and I don't know all the #s. Bron had to share shots with Love and Kyrie as well which is why his numbers might have been lower than usual.

According to basketball reference.com.

Wikipedia has Iggy listed at 218. So either way, it's pretty comparable.

I'd say the big difference is two fold:

1.) Delly was literally one on one vs Klay. Iggy knows he has.gets help behind him.

2.) Even though the size disparity is bigger for LeBron/iggy vs Klay/Delly, I think given the skillset of Klay the height difference is more impactful in that matchup than in the LeBron matchup. If you give someone with a great shooting stroke a few inches they are nearly impossible to stop because they know you can't really alter the shot.

Just my two cents.

First of all, Iggy has the experience of guarding Lebron his whole career. He has the athleticism and the length to contest shots. Posting up can be an issue but that is where length comes in.

Delly is a second year bench player trying to guard a prolific scorer. Klay outmatches him with his length and athleticism. On the other hand, Delly can contest Steph's shots and also has the athleticism to keep up somewhat.

In game 1, Iggy spent a lot of time 1 on 1 vs. Lebron. He did the same in game 2, but got help when Lebron drove to the hoop.

And are you seriously comparing one guy giving up 2" and 40 pounds to the best player on the planet, to a guy giving up 3" and 20 pounds to a guy who isn't even considered the best player on his own team?

Plus throw in the weight difference between Curry and Klay - 30 lbs less is a lot easier to manhandle if you are a rugby player. Iggy has to be bigger than 207. 220 sounds about right but hell i'm not on the floor.
