Wow...very telling

I'm not sure that stat tells the whole story, however, because at the same time he had 6 assists. Running a lot of iso with LeBron makes sense as a strategy for the Cavs if the Warriors aren't going to double. He's the best player on the court and the play will most likely lead to him scoring or dishing an assist. The only problem with it is the enormous amount of energy it takes to do this.

I think you're confused again. Cavs fans are the ones saying that GS were the lucky ones...not the other way around. Warrior fans pretty much knew they would win, regardless of how they started out because that's how they play. Honestly, that team feels like as long as there's time on the clock they still have a shot

Just stop. You arent part of the "Warrior fans". Those Warrior fans are diehard fans and there are a couple on SportsHoopla. They have followed them their whole
True, but the difference is that you expect the Warriors will start hitting them because that's what they do. With the Cavs, you hope they'll start hitting them.

Not really, they have both been very consistent during the playoffs, especially over a 7 game series.

Seriously? Because you've been doing that all day long.

It's simple. Dude was trying to say the reason GS got in the early drought was simply because they were missing open shots. I said that wasn't the case. Sure, they missed a few open shots. News flash - so did the Cavs. That, however, wasn't the reason why they dug themselves into that early hole.

I really hope you get it now. I couldn't have possibly made it easier to understand.

Well I get that now you've agreed that they missed "open" shots....which was all I was saying in the first place. Glad to see the error of your statement and could come around. That wasn't so hard, now was it? :)

I think that is what GS wants him to do...everything on his own. IMO that will only get them a couple of wins at the most. They can live with 6 assists throughout the entire game and LBJ in double digit figures in relation to his iso plays. What team wouldn't want those odds? Also, I agree it will tire him...which is what we saw last night staring in the 3rd quarter.

Great stat: this is where LBJ needs to learn. This is from ESPN.

LeBron James had 37 isolation plays in Game 1. He shot 11-for-28 on those plays (39%), compared to 7-for-10 on shots off a pass (70%).

You understand if someone passes him the ball on the post isolation that is considered a pass off a shot. I venture to say 90-95% of his shots last night were from isolation. That was their offense, nobody was moving around.

Last night I was feeling the pain of the loss. This morning I was feeling rah-rah, go cavs go.

I'm coming down from that now and starting to see the reality of the two teams in front of me.

I'm sure by Sunday I'll be back to full believe-land mode.

I feel the exact same way. At the end I was hoping it wouldnt go into overtime, bc I knew it would be over. During the game I was like, "The Warriors are totally outmanning the Cavs, how are we still in this." The depth is a cause for concern, but we expected that the whole playoffs. Guys will have to step up bigger than ever and Lebron will have to literally do everything and more.

OMG BINGO again...

this is 100% dead-on...

Can we say the Cavs played their best either, no, even with what they have left of the roster, I still say no. They missed open looks as well and it seemed like GS in the 2nd half was getting every loose ball. Both teams didnt play their best.

I think Lebron could have been better as well. BLASPHEMY! lol

So do you understand yet? Did you go look up "speaking in generalities"? It would've saved us both a lot of time if you just knew what the meant in the first place.

Good luck moving forward, you guys are gonna need more of it :suds:

This picture perfectly represents the Warriors strategy. Form a wall around the other 4 players and let LeBron wear out going 1-on-1 all night.

It's the west coast. There's a handful of actual, real "fans" in that entire state and that's about it. LAD is a Lakers fan when they're good, and when they're bad, it's off to waive the Warriors pompoms.

Thing is...they're extremely fortunate that strategy didn't backfire. If Lebron/Shump make those last second shots, the entire view of that strategy changes.

Yeah definitely. I don't think Game 1 showed whether or not its a good strategy.

Can you imagine if we had a healthy Kyrie, Love and Andy? That depth argument would be switching sides pretty quickly.

Yes, i understand that you've had to eat your words once again, even if you had to find them in between the lines, and you're not happy. Good luck to your team as well. Maybe Kyrie will be "lucky" and not have too serious of an injury.

Only problem with this statement is I have already said many times I'm a Lakers fan first and also happen to be a Warriors fan. You not liking that is a personal problem, which isn't my problem.

Actually, you should consider adopting a second team from the Western Conference...you and Shane, that way you both will have the opportunity to enjoy the experience when your team wins and not be such sore losers. I can only imagine how the two of you musta been when LBJ left and went to Miami.

It wouldnt be a problem and I would feel very confident lol. But that isnt the case, it's too bad.
