Cleats are regulation as well, but if you stomp on someones head with them you get penalized. You know this though.

Putting injury aside, Brady could easily go another 4 years, possibly 6.

People, and I'm not saying you, forget that QB's don't get hit as much anymore for varying reasons, so with that in mind I think you will see the healthier premier QBs go into their 40's become somewhat common.

The Patriots still have 2 or 3 more good years with Brady, but yeah, after that they're screwed unless Garappolo is the next Aaron Rodgers.

I wouldn't be sure, I could see 4-6 only because the game has changed and QB's with low injuries can go longer, and I think will become more common.

Why not? NFL QB's don't get hit as much and are protected more than any other player on the field..

the chargers were caught red handed in game using stickum in 2012. they refused to cooperate. no one was suspended. rivers not investigated, his phone was never requested.

the panthers and vikings both used illegal sideline heaters on the footballs last season. no one was suspended.

jerry rice openly admitted he used stickum late into his carer with oakland. this happened recently.

Tomlin on the field, Falcons noisegate, Browns texting on field, of course bounty gate...NFL football is not golf...it's not a self governed sport...there is a line of sportmanship and teams will cross that line if they don't think will get caught.

This isn't unique to NE, but when combined with success on the field...it's a bigger deal.
