Why would we be the team to do him any favors?? He has said he would not sign if drafted at this point. The only way he can get into next years draft is if he is drafted this year and refuses to play. I think he goes undrafted, becomes a UDFA and signs a one year deal.

What do you folks think about rolling the dice on Ifo -CB Oregon?? He was considered the top CB in the draft before the knee injury. He wouldn't help the team this year, but could be a steal if he makes a 100% recovery and returns to his old form...

Why would we be the team to do him any favors?? He has said he would not sign if drafted at this point. The only way he can get into next years draft is if he is drafted this year and refuses to play. I think he goes undrafted, becomes a UDFA and signs a one year deal.

It's one thing to say/bluff that (to force teams to draft you high), it's quite another to do it. Does he honestly think he's better entering the draft next year and earning zero money this year? Maybe. But I doubt it.

It's a risk though, but how risky is it given the lower rounds we're getting into?

I will be 100% honest. IF Scot thinks he can trade down and grab one more pick, I would have no problem with us taking him with our next pick. At that point it becomes a calculate risk. And if the risk pays off, it pays of huge.

And odds are if he goes undrafted, they wont let him in the draft next year. So his best bet is to actually get drafted.

Also the last player to refuse to sign, ended up being a 7th rounder the next year.

Oh I hated the Gators LOONG before we hired the old sack coach.

And yes I suspect he does get drafted today. And Im simply saying I wouldnt mind if it was by us.
