because that doesnt look like a choke pass. it really actually looks like a great play mayde by the defensive back... i mean did you see how far he knocked Lockette, guy bounced from the goal line to the three yard line...

if he choked he would have made a poor read and threw it into tcoverage or put it up for grabs when he didnt need too...

basically that was not a choke pass...

He screwed up. You do not throw that pass unless you are sure. You still have another two plays...live to see them. You never throw a red zone pick in that situation. 4th down, sure, but not there.

God Damn.....spot on. I'm not a Luck hater, I think he's going to be good, but he's got some things to clean up. The consist excuse making of lack of talent for his mistakes rubs me raw. Why folks got to act like he's some kind of God at QB and those turn overs...not his fault..it's the crap that surrounds him...yeah, they are his fault and he needs to correct that or the Colts well never win the big one.

Colts do not have a very good running game at all. they live or die by how well there qb can deliver the ball. so he take alot more risk than Wilson does because his team is one diminsional. Wilson has that running game that alows him to limit risk taking. as a result yea Luck will prolly have more INTs than Wilson prolly for along time.

plus Seattle can punt knowing there defense will keep them in the game.
can you really say the same thing about the Colts?

either way they are both bright young qbs going forward. and they both have plenty to work on...

Move on to what would be the question.

Moving on is easy in theory....it's damn hard in practice. Bear's are almost assuredly going to miss out on drafting either of the top 2 guys in this draft and they don't have many places to turn after that. And that is why Cutler should probably bank on playing in the Windy City next fall.

Of course there is always a question of who takes his place... But what does Cutler offer right now besides a massive salary ? The guy has had more than enough chances and it's just not happening ... At some point you gotta move on ...

Yeah but that point is when you have a better option available. You just can't say I want to move on and not have a plan and get stuck in a ridiculous situation where your QB play is so putrid that it kills any chance of your other offensive player's developing like they should.

People like to blame the QB too much. Cutler most certainly has his faults. But he is like reason #4 or #5 on why the Bear's have sucked the last two years. Their putrid defense and abysmal coaching are way ahead of Cutler on the list of things wrong with the Bear's.

He should be replaced at some point obviously but that point probably isn't this year. Really the only reason they should trade him is if they come out of the draft with one of the two top prospects. And frankly at that point in the offseason, it will likely be too late to trade him. So they are kind of in a situation where they have to soldier on with him at the helm and hope that a better situation presents itself.

If they just cut/trade him for no other reason than to move on, they likely end up in a MUCH worse situation.

Point taken... That's the gamble though sometimes... What's the hit on there cap if they don't release or trade him soon ?

Sure he will...he`s taken the league by surprise.

All qbs have their picks,RW included(SB a big one).

he`s done far better for that team than what I`ve expected him to do with no running game.

You put luck on yoy`re team.........multiple SBs.

Sorry, but RW has not won a SB yet.....You`re deense has done all the work.

it would cost them too much to just cut bait and run... they will need to trade... more than likely your looking at the Bears being stuck for probably another 2 years...

I know I was drinking a lot during SB 48 but I'm pretty sure he has won one. In his 2nd season non the less.

Disagree. Reason why is Detroit had the #2 D last year and with Suh, Stafford, Megatron, Tate, et al could not get it done.
Year before the Saints had the #4 D and did not get it done with Brees, Graham, Colston ect.
