I like Ritz team, and think he's got a good overall squad but it's the way the draft went that gives me the edge... The power running game is gut punches him to death keeping Manning off the field then follow that up with a killer Dline... Ray Lewis is 1 of 2 players with 30+ picks and 30+ sacks...

Ritz - 10
WLK - 17

Two very even teams. I like WLK's starting D, they are really outstanding, but Ritz has a heck of a D too and better skill players IMO. The Tony Gonzalez mismatch at TE was the difference for me, bbut with that defense, I could see WLK getting a ton of votes

I love WLK's defense but his offense is probably 8th in this draft IMO, I think it's just to much offense for Ritz in this one.

Ritz wins

too little too late, but I'll go WLK here. I think his D is stronger than Ritz's O, but it's a low scoring affair something like 13-10

Wow stoke keeps getting it wrong. Just like on Sunday he will chose the wrong team to win :pound:

Well, that may be, but at least I didn't choose a team using 2 4-3 ends as 3-4 ends, playing next to a big DT (350 lbs) who never played in a 3-4 d.

I still like the Seahawks chances on Sunday.

LOL I also like the Hawks chances but same with Pats. Its going to be a coin toss on who wins. Good luck on Sunday my 2 teams Redskins/Broncos aren't in it so I got no dog in the fight. I do want Seattle to win because they have 2 Penn State players on their roster compared to 0 from the Pats.

Not sure you can really call someone out for playing someone in the wrong spot, you drafted a left tackle and played him at right tackle. Whats the difference? Also, how has Ngata never played in a 3 - 4 that's what the play now, he plays end but I think if you believe Thomas can play RT why can't Ritz think Ngata can play NT?

Wrong game, Sam Adams is the DT I'm referring to. Ritz and I disagreed on every pick for the games but one (hence his stoker is wrong again comment), and I was point out his pick where I thought he was wrong which is where Sam Adams played NT - which I really don't have an issue with to be honest, most run stuffing (especially large) DTs can play NT, but add it to him playing next to Simeon Rice and Jared Allen in a 3-4, and you have 3 4-3 specialists playing the line of a 3-4 defense. He thought I was wrong taking WLK against him, I think he's wrong for taking Shane against me, it's all even in the end. :suds:

What is funny is the only question I asked Nos by text was "did Sam Adams play NT". I looked him up and at 350lbs he fits the mold for that position.

Yeah, he does fit the mold. He played in Seattle for years next to Kennedy but couldn't get enough push to take the doubles from Cortez. That's what I remember about him, was that he was big but not much else, and he couldn't even beat one blocker consistently. I tried not to hold it against him, as it was only the first half of career. Had he had 3-4 ends next to him, I wouldn't have even brought it up at all, it's just with the two ends he has, he'll need to command double teams every play, and possibly triple teams.

Nos and I thought you were talking about my DE's and NT at first until you brought up Adams.
