Before your panties ride all the way up your ass may I have names of the Broncos fans that say Denver is going to blow out the Patriots? Yes many fans dislike the Patriots for good reason but I havent seen any Broncos fans on the Broncos message board that have ever blamed the refs. Im pretty sure most of us will own up and say the Patriots were the better team that day if they win by a large or even small margin. So I suggest chill and just enjoy the game win or lose. Just saying.
What good reasons do the Bronco fans have for hating the Patriots?

The only thing that will give NE a chance in this game is weather, turnovers and penalties. If none of those three are much of a factor, Denver wins easily. No "football savy NE fan" believes they have a chance without Denver shooting themselves in the foot in this game. :suds:
Is that so? No chance at all, huh?

Why do I get the feeling you were telling the Seattle faithful the same thing just before the Super Bowl last year?

Well, for one, they aren't the Broncos. Do I need to go any deeper than that? :yahoo:

Lol. Nice try. Most Denver fans thought it would be a close game. As it turned out, we were blinded by our loyalty and refused to acknowledge that Denver was in over their heads. It was ugly. Just know the pain and humiliation subsidies with time bro. :)

This is a tough game for NE. No savvy Denver fan believes that Playing the Pats in Foxboro should ever be taken for granted.....Another possibility to the 3 "things" that you mentioned is that the Patriots simply score more points than the Broncos. I really do hope that the Broncos believe, like you that they will win easily - but I doubt it. They did not get this far by being stupid.....

I'm one who does think it could be a Denver blowout. So what? I see the Patriots this season feasting off of a few very whimpy teams, while getting blown out by a KC team who's not normally known for their explosive offense. I also see a team who scored only 16 last time they played Denver, and a NE team who was staring at a 24-0 deficit in Foxboro. Fact is, if it weren't for some timely turnovers by Denver in that second half, that game would have been a Denver blowout, instead of a close NE win.

Putting up 50 against the Bears defense isn't much to brag about. Swiss Cheese is envious of the holes in the Bears D. Until they prove otherwise, I think the Patriots are closer to the team that got blown out by KC than they are to the juggernaut they historically were. :facepalm3:

Yes the timely turnovers helped NE back into the game. A game that started out with timely NE turnovers to let Denver jump out to that nice lead.

NE has a lot of plays you have not seen on film. I'm expecting to see some of them in this game.
I really wish we'd save some of them for the playoffs but we'll use them.
(one example: Develin releasing block and catching the ball in the flats.)

So, how can that be an example of all these mystery plays??? If you're describing it, it's gotta be on film:scratch::doh:

Not only that, but the Seattle fans gave us no chance before the game either. Just because their team actually won doesn't mean they were right, or somehow more intuitive than Broncos fans. From a fan bias perspective, it just means they got lucky. The Broncos failed to show up for a game where a stout opponent came ready to play. A blowout in the NFL, especially the Super Bowl, is ALWAYS an anomaly. Sometimes the planets just align for a team, and when that happens and is combined with a team's own diligence (one does have to give the Seahawks their fair share of credit as well) the results look the way they did in February.

With that said, it's in the past. And a blowout loss in the Super Bowl is still better than not reaching the big game. I was not the least bit in "pain and humiliation" the next day. I was proud my team had the season it had. It was too bad they slept walk through the Super Bowl, but it was still an awesome season. And they are following up by making this season shape up to be just as awesome.

Maybe more so.

I think it can also depend on how well the Patriots offense can run and how well the Denver D can defend against it. On paper it looks good, but the game is not played on paper.

To be honest I don't think anyone expected Seattle to destroy the Bronco's. I don't think Denver was over it's head either. They just weren't as prepared as they thought they were. Sometimes too much success in the regular season works against a team in the playoffs. Some tough, physical games where you eke out a win (or even lose) are good for a team. Most people expected a close game but it started off bad and unraveled very, very quickly.

The only team to go 18-1 and lose the Super Bowl:pound:

The Chicago Bears did 18-1 MUCH better than the Patriots:whistle:
hey,...I'm not sure how old you are [13?].....I was coming to your defense when it comes to being ''embaressed''......but at least our last two SB's were close in score and the better team won that certain day.,.......*just-saying*.

No you weren't. You were bragging about going 18-1.

BTW you forgot two other loses that weren't so close:

GB 35, NE 21

CHI 46, NE 10

Denver has 2 big SB losses too

Also 14 point difference is not exactly "not close"
