Interesting on both fronts.
I'm surprised the Red Sox would part with 3 young players for Heyward. Does this seem like a lot to you?
I'll readily admit I've not watched Heyward all that much. He is still quite young though and maybe they see a bat which will come into it's own as he matures.
I guess it depends on the players. I would not give up our top 3 for him, but I would like to know what it would take. I think Hayward has not tapped his full potential. I would love to have him in RF next year.
Just FYI.. His WAR is at 6.1. That's with him only having 10 HRs.
