You mean besides more games? There is a very good reason why Tebow isn't in the league; he's the only one that thinks he's a viable NFL QB (outside of the media, of course).

Hill and Davis is a better option.

Shaun Hill has proven to be a good backup. Other than with Denver, Tebow hasn't been given the option of being a good backup. Of course, he led the Broncos to the playoffs and won a game. Was screwed at NYJ. He was out on 3rd and 1 and told to run between the guards, which of course the defense knew "Tebow on the field means QB sneak between the guards" and they packed the middle. But since he couldn't run threw 5 defenders, Rex said he was no good. And with New England, like he was ever going to play with Brady there.

Focus on just college football.

Been doing that for years, but apparently the Rams have not.

Here we go with the Tebow thing again. I like Tebow. I think he's better than many back-ups in the NFL, but no one wants the circus and now these people in the FO are scrambling for their jobs. Again! So they won't bring in a circus act.

Tebow > Orton and Orton was the back up for the Cowboys last year.

Do I think Tebow could handle the NFC West? I doubt it.

At some point, when the guy can't secure a QB position out of the 64-96 available in the league, you need to accept the league's talent advisor's opinions and let the guy fade into obscurity. Excuses don't explain why he is home without a job while Jimmy Claussen has a backup job.

Kurt Warner graduated from UNI in 1994. Undrafted free agent that lost a spot to the partier, careless, hillbilly that the Falcons couldn't wait to get rid of Bret Favre. Got his first NFL start when Trent Green tore his ASL in 1999.

And..? We all know the Warner story. He didn't have a chance to prove himself and was completely under the radar. There has been no time since Tebow arrived at Florida that he was under the radar. He simply is not an NFL QB; he can't throw the ball accurately and you can time his release with a sundial. Not only that, but he brings a media circus with him; it's hard enough to deal with that for a star player, let alone a fringe player in the league.

Hopefully, this team isn'treliant on superior QB play. Good defense, play makers around the QB, good Kicking team. All three phases, solid...

This fits perfect for Tebow.

With that shopson, Who better than Tebow in this situation? :noidea:

Tebow has also proven as a starting QB, a team he plays for can make the playoffs.

Niners should pick him up as a backup QB then.

If Kaep goes down with a season-ending injury, I would say 49ers should get Tebow to back up the back up they have now. And if McCoy would do terrible in games, I would say give Tebow a shot at starter. What would the 49ers have to lose in that situation?

I do think Tebow is very underappreciated because of Rex Ryan, who wasn't going to start Tebow even if Tebow scored a TD everytime he touched the ball in New York. Do I think he's an elite QB - no. Do I think he has been given a shot? Yes, he took a team to the playoffs. Since then he hasn't been given a shot though.

I'm not too disappointed that Bradford is out. First off he can't get out of his own way even if he would of stayed healthy. He makes too many bad decisions in the red zone. Holds on to the ball too long as a rule. A lot of wasted plays that go nowhere. Will make some bad turnovers at the worst times. Balls batted in the air for INT's, fumbled snaps. Bradford only plays well when the Rams are down by a lot and has to make a huge comeback. Then it's too late anyways. At least Hill is a gunslinger and can run some to get away from trouble. But his arm isn't the strongest which makes him just a fill in until the RAMS get someone else, hopefully this season. Davis has a ok arm but that's all. He can't lead the RAMS anywhere this season.

Before Bradford's injury I said Tebow should do CFL, Arena, or some minor football league to work on skills he struggles with. If he also took teams to championship, he has that exposer of success that he doesn't have working with trainers and coaches in private workouts.

To name a few; Hill and Davis. Maybe even Thad Lewis, who the Bills cut loose. Someone that can throw an NFL football accurately to a moving receiver without a 3 second wind-up.

There is a lot mediocrity at QB in the league (and even worse), yet Tebow is jobless. No NFL team wants Tebow as a QB; doesn't that mean anything to you?

Most teams aren't searching for a QB because theirs doesn't have a season ending injury.
Jacksonville is doing the NFL Draft route, hasn't helped so far.
Denver only cut him because they got one of the best NFL QBs of all time.
NYJ will not be great on offense as long as Rex Ryan is coach. He does produce great Ds though.

If their QBs don't do good, I think Minnesota, Houston, Jacksonville, and St Louis should consider Tebow. I also think Tebow should forget working for SEC Network and join one of the minor leagues if nobody is hiring him.

Don't think for a minute that I'm an advocate for Tim Tebow coming to the Rams as a starter solution.

He could be that no trade necessary FA QB we add to our depth chart.

I want 3 QB's on the roster this year, just in case we have either an older QB in Hill get hurt or an unknown starter in Davis fall apart in the starting role or both..

As a third guy on our roster & at no cost to future picks, you get a guy with fire, heart and desire and someone with NFL starter experience in the pinch should we need a No. 3 to start....

Too as a No. 3 he gets time to learn the system.

Also we kick Gilbert to the practice squad so there is low risk with another QB who knows our system.

That's 15 turnovers to 12 TD's while completing less than 50 percent of his passes......OUCH!

Just so you know Iowagerms, we've had this Tebow discussion at least three times in the years that many of us have been around the SportsHoopla and over on the other board where many of us immigrated from. So, alot of us aren't exactly superhyped to go down this route again but I'm sure Vita will discuss things with you.

If include rushing turnovers, make sure you include rushing TDs. 18 TDs to 15 turnovers.

And IDK about you, 3-8 is not a great stat to have either.
