Positives:

Hyde is looking like a beast. Great pick.
Ellington is looking like our return man.
Tank is going to be a regular in this lineup.
Dial with two strips. Love it.
Borland on ST

Shit:

Gabbert is looking terrible. How the hell was he a 1st round pick?
Looney needs to go.
Hampton had an opportunity to make this team and he's blowing it.
Borland looks lost in pass coverage.
Wilhoite not terrible, but I was expecting him to play a lot better.
Jacobs dropping wide-open passes when we're stacked at WR? See ya.
J. Martin needs to play better.

Anybody I miss that stands out?

Chris Cook sighting! Looked like Spillman with the pressure on the QB.

Loving what I'm seeing out of Tank.

I think Josh Johnson may have just taken the backup QB spot by default.

That right there is why Osgood may make this team over Lloyd. Great special teams player.

I just realized that Chuck Jacobs is #17 and dropped a wide-open pass earlier. Remind you of anyone?

Ellington looks quick. Josh Johnson apparently doesn't want the backup job?

Second half, Ellington looked really good. Josh Johnson, was ok. Not great. Lemonier looked good. Okoye and Chuck Jacobs got hurt.

Just noticed that Gabbert had a 1.7 passer rating. Geez, and he was going up against a backup defense too.

My Impressions

Hyde looked good, think him and Gore will form a nasty 1/2 punch.

Ellington is our return guy he was fast and decisive hit some holes and looked comfortable out there.

Borland has a ways to go in coverage but made some plays him and Whilhoite bit hard on all the PAF's

NT is a bit of a concern as Dial and Purcell didnt seem to hold there ground against the Ravens O Line very well.

Tank looked good and had a nice sack, he will definitely be in the D Line rotation.

We are soooo fucked if Kap goes down that's all I gotta say about the back up QB's.

Vance looked a lot more comfortable out there and caught the ball well, I expect a big improvement from him this season.

Great analysis by everyone. I saw the first series and then watched part of the second half. I will try to catch a replay on NFL Network. I too was impressed with Hyde. This is the first time I have watched him play. I was impressed with how fast he was able to turn the corner for a back his size. He looks like he could be the real deal.

Not too worried about the bad points yet. Just the first preseason game. If problems still persist by the end of preseason than I start to get a little concerned.

The guys on the radio seem to agree that the most obvious take-away from this game was that Quinton Dial stock is off the charts.

But am I alone in being concerned about D?

Huh? Dial was great, he forced 2 fumbles and had I believe 10 tackles, he was our best defensive player last night with Tank next

Yes Ellington return guy
Hyde nice #2
Borland (not sure he will make it), Not bad on special teams
Dial looked good
Tank is a beast
and Yes we are screwed if Kap goes down. All that positive talk about Blaine and he looked really really bad. We might have to pick up another QB if some one get cut.

If you look at who started the game on defense, it is not surprising that the defense struggled. The team just needs players to come back from injury and knock on wood not have more injuries pile up

Yes I agree but it looks like Depth might be an issue. I understand that it wasn't really our 1st team D. We only had what like 3 starters on the field.
