Quit being a bunch of greedy pricks and take whatever you can get. The same thing FSU did.

Boise St doesn't get games because they make crazy demands, not because people are scared of them. They expect home and home games, but then they also expect the other team to pay them like $1 million when they come to the other teams stadium as if they are a 1 and done paid team. Meanwhile, Boise St has nothing to offer the team on their visit to Idaho. They can't even sell out a less than 40k stadium, have no market, and isn't a good place for recruiting.

I have no pity for them. They don't really want a better schedule, they just want to pretend like they do while reaping the rewards.

They bitch about the BCS and yet the BCS rewarded them well beyond what they actually deserved.

Fuck em.

Have you taken a look at their future schedules? How can you say they "don't really want a better schedule". Is that a joke or something? They have BYU on the schedule every year until 2023, and at least 2 games against other power 5 competition scheduled through 2020. H & H w/FSU, MSU, Okie St are good.

In 2004 #12 Boise (11-1) beat Oregon St.
In 2006 #5 Boise (13-1) beat Oregon St. and Oklahoma.
In 2008 #11 Boise (12-1) beat Oregon.
In 2009 #4 Boise (14-0) beat Oregon.
In 2010 #7 Boise (12-1) beat Virginia Tech and Oregon St.
In 2011 #8 Boise (12-1) beat Georgia and Arizona St.
In 2012 #18 Boise (11-2) beat Washington.

I think it's clear to say they would have been PAC, Big XII, ACC, and SEC champs those years.

Wow, they play 2 games a year of the teams the others play 8 and 9 games a year. I'm supposed to be impressed why?

They should be applauded for their OOC scheduling, especially in the future, they are scheduling good, that's why I called you out for saying they "don't really want to". They play in a bad conference, not their fault.

They are simply doing the same basic OOC scheduling that most teams do on top of their better conference.

Never said it was clear cut they WOULD have won any of those leagues. I said they could have, because it's hypothetical, and arguing a dumbass hypothetical situation is stupid. Its my opinion vs. your opinion and it isn't going to change.

Fault doesn't mean a damn thing.

When they have 4 tough OOC games a year to make up for the weak conference, I'll pay attention. Of course, if they did that, it wouldn't matter because their SoS would be fine.

You can definitely see where Boise turned the corner.....that's for sure.

For a while there any big named program just meant an auto loss, but then 2006 came.

2006? :L

They were (10-2) in 2000, (12-1) in 2002, (13-1) in 2003, and (11-1) in 2004.

How many "big named programs" can even come close to that in those years?

Nobody

Oklahoma went 49-5 in those particular years.
So "nobody" would not be right.

Their conference schedule is all the OOC games people give teams shit for playing.

Their conference schedule is the teams Boise fans themselves give other people shit for playing. Smilesid was bashing Nebraska the other day for playing Idaho in 2010.

It's the one and only time Nebraska's ever played Idaho.

Between 1996 and 2010 Boise played Idaho every year for a total of 15 games.
Yes, Boise also played Idaho in 2010. :wtf:

LMAO. You really can't make this stuff up.

Yes, but to be fair Smiles is to Boise St what OD was to Oregon. There are some cool Boise St fans around here who aren't oblivious to reality and know they need a tougher schedule and the consequences that would likely come with it.

There's one.

But they beat Oklahoma in 2006.

Boise St >>>> Oklahoma

Are there any others that can compete with Boise?

I think not

Just out of curiosity, how many ranked teams (finished ranked) did they play those years?

Quality of the opponents doesn't matter. What matters is if they are in another conference and you played them in a home and home series.

Just ask smiles, he'll copy and paste one of his 3 posts for you.
