He might have learned that attitude from his old DP partner.

As much as I couldn't and can't stand Kinsler - glad to see him gone - I disagree with this.

From everything I've read/heard about him from both teams (us/Tigers) he shows up ready to play, makes no excuses and gives 100%.

Personally, I think Ian is a prick. But a gamer/hustling prick none-the-less.

This Feierman guy sucks...his MLB stats are deplorable. We're better off with Kirkman....I can't believe I just wrote that...

He got pissy about moving positions or taking on a leadership role is what I meant. Not that he didn't show up to play everyday. Although, I do think Ian took a AB's off.

He didn't get pissy. He said he didn't want to move that early in his career and I still don't blame him.

Totally agree with ya on this.......He was definitely a "me first" player, no doubt about it........And actually, we both know he took plays off defensively too......He has as much range at second as anyone, with a way above average arm. Yet he'd play an easy play into a hit/error and then make the amazing play. Very frustrating.

Changing sports, but do you remember the Mavericks Mark Aguirre? He and Kins had a lot in common. The biggest point of comparison was, once they made that wonderful play, and played the entire game the way they just did, now we all know they can and should, therefore we expect them to do it all the time. And they just don't. Makes us all crazy people.

This team needs a big time, come from behind victory in a bad way for a mental boost. Just not sure if they have it in them!

Choo may need to get his eyes checked, he certainly isn't seeing the ball as he used to

Fun fact, I went to Brett Cecil's draft party in Maryland. Didn't know the guy at all, but my cousin was in his same class at the same high school so he invited a ton of people over. Just shook his hand, never really had a conversation with him. Apparently right after the draft he got a really ugly girl pregnant and stuck it out with her because he felt it was the right thing to do. Well, now that girl is smokin hot apparently haha

Yeah, sure can't use his ankle as an excuse for that nonsense. Looking for a walk.

Yeah....gotta cut him some slack on this. He was what, 29 when originally approached?

He didn't want to be counted on to be a leader. Honestly, leadership ain't for everybody. I do respect him for knowing and admitting to who and what he is rather than pretending and failing.

Damn good thought though Murph! :yahoo:

And EA comes through. Yes sir....it's true

I mean it has been so long, I can't even remember the last 3-4 run come from behind win this team has had? They could really use one for their psyche
