He choked, but he's been sat on the shelf. He needed some work, it simply stupid to leave a guy sitting there waiting for save opportunities.

And we blew it in the top of the ninth when we had a lead off triple and left him stranded there...couldn't get the damn ball out of the infield...

Damn, games like this really piss me off!!!

Honestly... Baker holding them to 2 runs was pretty solid... i wouldn't say pitching lost this one. It was poor defense or defensive decisions. I am still just happy we were in it with Baker on the mound. He stepped it up a bit today.

After watching Saunders a couple of games here in the near future will surely give baker another chance

Honestly... Baker holding them to 2 runs was pretty solid... i wouldn't say pitching lost this one. It was poor defense or defensive decisions. I am still just happy we were in it with Baker on the mound. He stepped it up a bit today.

Don't forget about blown offensive opportunities. We had a couple including that 9th inning fiasco...

What's up with all the up coming slump predictions? It's a tough loss but we'll move on. It's already going to be a tough season with all the injuries, they are going to have down times. Games like this can also motivate a team too. They might come back and win big tomorrow. Right now... With all the injuries, all we really have left is optimism. Let's stand behind the team and see what they can do.

More often than not a loss like this lingers. Not only that but the Twins are feeling pretty good right now having stole one. Having Saunders on the mound tomorrow doesn't have me feeling confident that we'll win tomorrow.
