Haha, I've haven't seen Hammer's law resurrected in a while.

The last time the Cowboys won the Superbowl:

  • Bill Clinton started first term as pres. Hadn't even been blown yet by Monica.
  • Mrs.Doubtfire was in theaters
  • Sir Mix a Lot won the Grammy for "baby's got back"
  • Your cell phone was a brick with an antenna
  • The Flintstones were still on TV
  • The World Series was won in Canada
  • etc...
Thought we were done with hammers law back in early February as most people with half a brain knew using tired old ancient history wasn't going to cut it against the current world champions, but it seems there are a few tards dumb enough to still try it. That they try it while defending Romo and telling us how much better he is than the QB on that championship team is what makes it so damned funny. He is dripping with angry jealousy.

Wilson and Luck are top 6? Damn.

I'd take Big Ben over both of them, but soley based on what he's achieved, which is why i'm picking him now.

The poll has nothing to do with past glory. It'd supposed to be based in how good you think they'll be this year.

Sure, but you have use what they've done in the past to help predict what they might to tomorrow. These lists are always going to be highly subjective and will always vary greatly from person to person.

I'd say these poll results have been more biased, rather than based on actual stats or achievements. There's no way i'd take Wilson or Luck over an accomplished guy like Big Ben, at least not right now. But that's my opinion, doesn't make it right or wrong and it could change based on their play.

Right, so you use your opinion to refute what you say isn't based on stats?

As for achievements, he is statistically the best QB after the first two seasons of his career since Marino I believe and is the defending SB winning QB.

The problem here is people not understanding the rules of this thought experiment.

We were asked to say how we would rank them if they all had the exact same line, receivers, etc.

The facts are that RW had a great season for what he was asked to do despite being hind statistically the worst pass defending Online in the league last year.

Why is it so hard for people to grasp that some might believe he would do even better behind even an average line?

LOL. When defending Romo gets you nowhere, just change the subject to how great the team was way before he got there. Fucking clown.

Gets me nowhere? Just because a bunch of delusional Russell Wilson nut huggers vote him up doesn't change the fact that he's no better than the 16th best QB playing on a solid team. And rub that one little title all ya can, you can sit around the fire with Trent Dilfer telling war stories about your one lucky season while listening to Jim Nance sing One Shining Moment 20 years from now when you still have 1 LOL

Yeah, Wilson only has one Superbowl victory, but it was only his second year in the league. Seahawks chances of making another Superbowl run are as good as any ones.
Now tell me, how many Superbowl victories has Romo had? None you say? What a shame, but at least he still young right...oh he's 34, Mmmm not so young, but at least his team is a Superbowl contender right...oh ...my bad ..they are actual are mediocre year in and year out for the last twenty years.

Looking forward to seeing the Cowboys play the Seahawks at the Clink. Tell me who do you think wins that game?
