That ball to Chirinos wasn't even close though. It was a solid 5/6 inches off the plate.

No reason not to challenge that call. I believe it's foul, but still nothing to lose.

Exactly.....that call took a potentially big inning away from us, and again, it wasn't even close.

But Perez had a really off night, so it might not have made any difference.

He's not the root of our problem. Hope it didn't sound like that.

But he's been struggling and could use less pressure at the plate, and facing some lesser competition. And he obviously needs work in the OF.

Again, if Fielder wasn't off to his worst start ever, a lot of our warts wouldn't look so ugly.

Understand. All the players going to the DL has been frustrating enough. You add Fielder and the struggles of the pen late in some games just adds to it.
