(SPOILERS AHEAD)

A nice little finale to tidy most everything up (no Mr. Wrench). I am absolutely stunned we get a happy ending but I loved the way it turned out. And I also loved the way Lester went out; trying to get away only to have ground (ice) open up and swallow him whole like hell just opened up to make him pay for his sins. The loose end with no follow up to Mr. Wrench is interesting. If they do a second season, which would be a new story, I wonder if Wrench will be the link between the two seasons like how Stavos was the link between the movie and the show.

Also, this is worth checking out

The Lorne leg scene was pretty awesome. Great ending to a great show.

Was a bit disappointed at the lack of mention of Mr. Wrench, but that's my only real complaint.

I though when Lester was shooting thru the door he was gonna shoot the pregnant cop. Awesome broken leg scene, that look after he was shot the first few times, priceless. Watched it start again, the crashed snowmobile and breathing was cool after realizing what had happened.

Was this just a one year miniseries deal? dont know where it can go unless there was more mob action there.

It's a miniseries. But I think its the same as True Detective and American Horror Story are in that there may be a 2nd season but there will be a totally new story. I haven't read anything that's confirmed a 2nd season though

Question is, what would they do it about? Maybe revolving around the Sioux Falls incident?

Perhaps all those cassettes of names/cases Malvo kept? Molly as Police Chief?
Mr.Wrench's reappearance? The Hess kids make a prono w/ their stripper step mom?
Lester's brother Chazz gets released? The adopted Somalian dude? Gus becomes mayor of Bemidji?
A new random person finds the buried bag of cash?

That would probably be the most interesting one IMO.

LOL @ Hess one.

I read today that it was confirmed that the second season will be about Molly's dad. If you remember, Lou told a story about a killer he encountered in the late 70s. The season will focus on that.

Yep, completely new cast. I heard they are probably not going to bother to get any top actors or actresses, like Billy Bob Thornton in it because they have already reeled in viewers with the first season.

Question: What are the odds that there will be a money transfer that includes a large sum of 'dirty' money being given to a Wade Gustafson? (And the cycle continues?)

I saw that article but they referred to the Carradine brother who plays Lou as "David Carradine" so I wasn't sure how legit the story was.

After watching the last episode of Fargo I thought that that was also the final episode of that series. I wondered whether the same might also be true about the last episode of True Detective. Apparently, however, both will have second seasons in which the casts of characters and the stories have changed, but the "moods" of the series remain constant. Such a format is called an anthology.

They have an interesting cast in place for season two. They don't have the high profile actors like in the first season.

Patrick Wilson plays Lou solverson. I don't know much about him to be honest.

Kirsten dunst is an interesting cast. I though she would play the innocent female hero, but her character shares the same last name as Jesse Plemons character. He played Todd in breaking bad, the guy who shot that kid. I am pretty sure he's going to be the bad guy. I highly doubt these two will be the Gus-Molly or Marge-Norm type good people, but it could be.

Other cast includes jean smart and ted danson. Not as high profile and Martin Freeman or Billy Bob Thornton, but I kind of like this cast as well.
