Niners table contract talks with Colin Kaepernick - NFL.com
Talks are dead for Kaepernick's contract talks at this time. Pending this latest investigation to be over.
According to Rapoport the talks were not going well to begin with. Both sides are very far apart.

...HOWEVER, there is increasing reason to question the team's ability to draft well...
Can't count, can't post accurate results, and can't figure out when they are being owned. HARD.
Love it.
Keep up the good work STBR, but you might want to proof read your posts using the 'see spot run' kind of approach to make sure you don't lose him yet again. I think you keep leaving dred way behind.
Here is something I can count. This is the THIRD time I am calling you out to explain your own stupidity because the first explanation made zero sense. Instead, you have hid behind other posters instead of flat out answering. It's time to nut up and answer the question instead of trying to insult. You aren't much good at either.
Or I ignored it because everyone with reasonable reading skills knows you are just being a tard.
If one points out that even late rounders have been so successful that it really sets them apart from everyone else in the league when it comes to the draft, it kind of goes without saying they are excellent up and down their draft board. You really shouldn't need to have someone point out that obvious fact.
I do find it hilarious that you are still hung up on it though. Really does point out just how sllllooooowwww you really are.
But talk about back tracking, when it was pointed out that ALL of your 'facts' were wrong THIS is all you keep going back to.Talk about time to nut up.
God I love 9'er fans. Especially the 'special' ones.

Haha. Much hyperbole I see. So excellence up and down their draft board based on late round picks? Let's try this exercise.
SEA 1st rd picks the last 5 drafts:
Irvin
Carpenter
Okung
Thomas
Curry
Of those 5, two have been Pro Bowlers and one of those Pro Bowlers, Okung has been hurt seemingly more then he has been healthy. Irvin still has yet to justify the 15th overall selection, Curry is TURRIBLE, and Carpenter is a borderline starter at best.
SEA 2nd rd picks the last 5 drafts:
Michael
Wagner
Tate
Unger
Unger's great, Michael hasn't been on the field, Tate was effective but no longer on the team, and you probably think more of Wagner then I do, but it is what it is.
SEA 3rd rd picks the last 5 drafts:
Hill
Wilson
Moffitt
Butler
Wilson is good, too early to tell with Hill, Moffitt tested positive and is now gone, and Butler is nowhere to be found.
These are examples of the exceptional drafting skills on the front end of your draft? The obvious FACT is that you have drafted 1 1/2 impact players in the 1st round in 5 years even though 4 of those 5 picks were in the top 15. Your 2nd round was solid mainly on the shoulders of Unger although its not bad, and your 3rd round is Wilson and nothing else. This is hardly exceptional up and down the draft board.
So once again, considering that the top 100 picks are comprised of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounders, why is it that you feel that RS w/ 3 picks is >>>>>>>>>> then the Niners with 6? I have no problem tipping my cap to the Hawks for their late round success, but the way that the Niners have built their team is on the backs of making impact picks in the first 3 rounds. SEA....not so much.
Lattimore's situation could be improving even more. The 49ers reportedly are shopping 2012 second-round pick LaMichael James, and if the team can find a trade partner, it stands to reason that Lattimore could move into that No. 3 running back slot behind Frank Gore and Kendall Hunter.
