It would take a hour just to get from manhattan to Newark, JFK, or La Gard. And that would be with zero traffic. Unless his private jet was catapulted to takeoff from the top of a NYC skyscraper and had warp drive, no fucking way in hell he gets to Cleveland and he's strolling into the Browns war room in an hour.

Maybe he had a helicopter take him to a smaller airfield heck I don't know how it works.

As others have stated... I'd probably watch this just because I'm a fan of Costner's other movies. Whether it was his acting or the script/cast, doesn't matter. Bull Durham, Field of Dreams & For the Love of the Game are all amazing movies...

AND NOBODY HAS MENTIONED TIN CUP!!!... One of my all time favorite sports movies.

:L I love when people use those small details as 'gotcha' bait to justify hatred of a movie. There are lots of those in even some of the best movies of all time. It's a story folks. This isn't a chronicle of a historic event where accuracy is critical.

Either the story entertains or it doesn't. If you are picking on how likely a trip from city to another would happen in a given time window and that event wasn't critical to the overall story you are entirely missing the point of a movie.

Don Johnson plays a great asshole in movies.

Most movies have them, but movies that pay enough attention to avoid them are on another level.

On topic, this movie has no appeal to me.

Out of "logic fails" he picks this one? I figured it would have been three #1 for this years number #1 in the movie, but then again the Redskins would pull the trigger on that deal

He talked about that too but I didn't want to give away the spoiler.[/QUOTE]

That wouldn't spoil it....

Not going to shell out the $12-14 dollars to see it. Not worth it imo. I will see it when it comes out on Redbox or Netflix.

I mostly want to see because I want to see how Hollywood interprets the draft process. Not excited about the obligatory love story that will somehow intertwine itself in the course of the main plot. I'll just wait until Redbox has it.

Costner was also good in Wyatt Earp. Speaking of good movie assholes, Woody Harrelson is climbing ranks

For me, Costner had one of the best performances in recent memory in Hatfields & McCoys.

That said this movie looks like a train wreck.

yeah, he's at his best in westerns.

i'm glad for his star power or great films like field of dreams and bull durham may never have gotten green-lit, but he's a dull, dull actor.

draft day looks awful, but i hope people who pay to see it enjoy it.

I completely agree. H&M's was excellent, and Costner was dead center. Really liked Mr. Brooks as well. I mean, he kills Dane Cook, what's not to like? I hear the Browns owner leaves NYC to Cleveland after the first pick, he's in his office for the fifth. Hate that kind of thing in movies.

Come on no love for Waterworld!

:behindsofa:

Seriously the only reason I am seeing this moving my son wants to see it. Normally I would never pay movie theater prices for a movie like this.
