7 seed vs. 8 seed. Reflect on that for a moment. :suds:

incredible game. incredible game.

I don't like Kentucky, I don't like how CAlipari does it, but damn...those 7 freshman have been impressive this tournament.

That's a tough fucking game to take. Kentucky played out of their mind on offense. They didn't miss an open shot all fucking game. They got all the rolls from minute 1 to minute 40. At the end, Trae still had a great shot that had just as much chance of going in as Harrison's did.

We played a great game tonight, at least offensively. So did they. They won. At the end of the day, we can hold our heads up high. We deserved this every bit as much as they did. I'm sad, but 2015 was always the year. Tonight wasn't our night. They need to take this passion into next year, when 7 of our 8 guys returned.

I'm fucking pissed now, but the consolation is that we can go further next year. Anything short of a national title, and this year will hurt a hell of a lot more.

Wisconsin could be a top 2 team next year.. If 3 players return for Michigan, they could be up there as well.. Big 10 could be strong next year as well..

Wisconsin couldn't have gotten a better look there at the end. And that Harrison 3 was so deep, I bet he doesn't make it again if he takes it 9 more times.

That's march madness.

If Wisconsin gets their players back and no one jumps early they will be extremely tough. Probably back in the final 4 again next year.

you played LITERALLY the same game against kentucky that michigan did. they lost by 1 in the elite 8, you won by 1 in OT.

so...........that 1 play shows you were CLEARLY better?

I was looking at the body of work as UW beat more difficult opponents and by a large margin (except #1 AZ). Also, UW lead Kentucky for a longer period of time than Michigan. I am still just baffled why our best defender gave him so much space but it's still a clutch shot.

I'm sorry, but if Kentucky shot like they did against us last weekend, they beat Michigan by 20. They had uncontested shot after uncontested shot against the Wolverines. Their shots were contested all night against us. They went 6-11 on FTs against Michigan (the only shots you an fairly compare). If they shot 54% at the FT line tonight, I'm out celebrating, not feeling like I got punched in the fucking gut.

The Badgers were clearly better. I'm not a Great Dayne fan, but if you don't see that, you don't fucking know basketball.

Wisconsin and UM should both be top ten preseason, but the blue bloods will be near the top next year.

UNC, Duke, and Kentucky, and possibly Kansas. The elite 8 could be full of blue next year.

Yeah no. He made a tougher shot than that to beat Michigan.

Wisky fans....that was a tough loss. Sucks to be on the losing side of a long three.

It was another great game and yet another example of why College basketball is the best.

We lose Brust who was the Badgers all time leading 3 point shooter. He's a limited player and a streaking shooter that takes more (bad shots) than anyone else.

Our replacement is Bronson Koenig who is a 6'3" PG who is athletic, has the highest 3 pt % on the team, great rebounder and Bo said he has the best handling/passing in UW history. If Decker and Frank both stay this team should at least make the elite 8, have a chance to make the final four and depending on matchups they could win it all. However, we will be limited by our bench and I don't see any future freshmen coming in that have anything close to what Bronson and Hayes added this season.

I'd take that bet.

The badgers were a blown call away from being in the same fucking spot as michigan, with an EE loss and you know it.

If you think I'm saying your team wasn't a hell of a squad, then you're missing the point. The Big 10 had 3 teams with enough quality to win it all. Two fell short in the EE, one in the FF. But to say you were clearly better based on a few FTs that kentucky took or this or that, is ridiculous. How about the fact that Michigan's offense is better than Wisconsin's. Maybe if Kentucky played defense against you like they did against Michigan they would have won by 20?

Kentucky vs Wisconsin:
29-58 (50%)
2-5 from 3 (40%)
14-21 FT (67%)

Kentucky vs Michigan:
31-58 (53%)
7-11 from 3 (64%)
6-11 FT (55%)

The last 3 Harrison hit vs Michigan was just as far as the one tonight and even better guarded by LaVert who literally had his hand covering Harrison's face.

STFU and take the loss like a man.

If Wisconsin is below UNC, Duke, Kentucky, or Kansas in the preseason poll, the sportswriters should all be laid off immediately. Again, we'll be returning 7 of 8 guys from a team that just took the eventual national champions to their last fucking breath when KY played their best game of the year.

Wisconsin should absolutely be #1 preseason next year. The only other team with any argument is Arizona. And if Wisconsin goes 39-1 and loses in the national title game, next year is a failure. They are that good. It's 40-0 or bust.

To be completely honest majority of my OP's were to use reverse jinx's. It worked until this :).

To be fair, their shots vs us were 85% from within 10 ft range. They shot the three pointer much better vs Mich than vs the Badgers.
