No doubt this is the toughest region. I like Louisville to win it all.
Its impossible to explain how Kentucky is just an 8 seedNot sure. That bracket is brutal. Uk maybe the most talented ream in the country. Quietly the Harrison twins have turned it around. Kentucky is playing really good ball. Hard to explain how Louisville is a 4 seed

I had KState as a sleeper team, too. Thats not an easy draw as a 9 seedThe committee must have not thought very highly of the SEC with Kentucky an 8 seed (with 15 RPI) and Tennessee playing in the play-in game. I thought Kentucky would be more like a 6 seed.
Louisville is a 4 seed because their resume cant match up to the 3, 2 and 1 seeds.
Yep. I think Louisville has been playing really well lately but they still were only in the 20s in RPI before their win last night. They just don't have a great SOS and have something like 16 wins vs RPI 150+

Oddly, based on BPI Michigan is the most overrated seed in the entire tourney. Lots of numbers out there, but I have a hard time believing Louisville isnt top 12

A few things to keep in mind regarding the seeding... sometimes, they'll move teams, up (not often) or down (more likely) in order to place them in a game closer to home.
Also worth noting that the committee has said that the late games on Sunday generally don't effect seeding, which probably hurt UK. (despite the loss)
As far as specifics, UK at an 8 is underseeded, but not egregiously so. Same with Louisville.
I never understood people complaining about seeding before the tournament even starts. Just play the teams in front of you. If you're a Champion, you'll win. If not, you're tied with everyone else for Not Champion. If you didn't really think you were a Championship team to start with, then you have nothing to complain about.
