To start your team around

Assuming you get them as a rookie say like back in 2004

No to the crybaby. No to the rapist. No to the slapdick.

That only leaves one. The 2-time SB champion.

Rivers is the only respectable QB on that list, even if it is brutally painful to watch him throw.

Even though I voted for Eli. I would still probably take a healthy Roethlisberger over Eli any day. His pump fake and his escapability is great.

I know it takes a team to win Super bowls, but Eli was still the QB and was one of the main reasons they won those rings

Dang, I hate agreeing with JDM, but I think I'd go with Rivers also. I like his competitive spirit, seems to have some football smarts, mobile enough, and can throw the ball just fine.

eli has been bad this year, but this is a 2 horse race IMHO

rivers had at one point a HOF RB, HOF TE, VJAX, sproles, i can go on with weapons, and a pretty good d and still couldnt get it done.....

It's a one horse race. The other three guys blow. Rivers dominates that class.

 I went with Rivers, but Eli and Ben hardly blow. Kind of doubt they would own Superbowl rings if they did.

You crack me up with your absolute opinions sometimes, at other times they annoy me, but its all good!

At their best they were above average with defenses playing lights out. Right now, they can't play. They've made that very obvious.

You seem to like making outlandish claims. Thinking that Rivers might be the best of those four isn't unreasonable, but he certainly doesn't "dominate" Rothlesberger.

1) Rivers
2) Roethlisberger
3) Manning
4) Schaub

For me this was a pretty easy decision to put them in this order.

Certainly this year or last year they haven't performed, some of that is due to the team playing badly and some due to injury. However the question was if they were rookies today as back in 2004. Both Ben and Eli have had some good years. Rivers hardly blows them out of water.
