I hope it hits 3, as the money line will be nice at that point. I doubt it will though.

It means that tons of early money went on Denver & Vegas had to change the line to get some money going the other direction. Doubt it will switch back too much the other way so in the end Vegas will make a killing if Sea wins.

Vegas doesn't lose often.

Yeah, they win ~70% of the time...at least in the casinos that's the overall edge to the house for all games.

The general public usually bets on Qbs in big games so the early money going Denvers way isnt surprising. Vegas has to loving this shit as anytime there is a giant fluctuation in points without a significant injury it usually means Vegas is about to clean up.

Vegas knows it's biz and the lines are designed to try to get people betting on both sides.

I read that last week, 4 to 1 of the money was taking SF +3.5. That line was designed specifically to do two things:

Get that money flowing in on the underdog.
Get people betting on the underdog by offering the idea that if Seattle won by a field goal, you still win by taking SF. All the analysts on ESPN where calling scores with the victor only winning by 1-3 points, etc...

I feel the same way. I was nervous as hell about meeting the 49ers for a third time. I was really hoping the Panthers could knock them off for us, but no such luck, you want a job done right, you got to do it yourself.

Now Denver have a heck of a team, but the Seahawks are built to beat em. Not just the LOB, our LB are fast and can cover or tackle as needed, our DL rotates quality players in and out and can pass rush or stop the run as needed.
Offensively the Seahawks have one of better RBs in the league, Lynch never quits working for the extra yardage. Russell Wilson has shown to be clutch and put points up in crunch time and the receivers can get the job done.

Seahawks are old school, which IMO will soon become new school once again. Great , physical defense, a running game that wear out the opposing defense, all the while giving the defense a rest. A QB that limits mistakes and make big plays when needed.

Should be a epic match up!
