And I only say this because they praised him after the game for his "great drive" for the game winner. He threw 2 terrible interceptions that were clearly his fault and our horrible defense dropped at least 3 more. Conte had one go right through his hands for a miraculous catch and we dropped one on the 3rd and 8 at the end of the game on a ball that was 3 feet wide of Nelson. And the kicker is how Aikman said on the TD that it was not an easy throw to make. Cobb was open literally by 20 yards and Rodgers under threw him so badly that we almost still tackled him before he scored. Rodgers missed so many open receivers. He needs to play 10x better or San Fran is gonna destroy the Packers.

I have never been this disappointed in a Bears defense in all my life. My fellow Bears fans, we would have been steamrolled in the playoffs. Let's clean house on the defensive side and make a run at this next year.

Packers fans - don't take this thread the wrong way. Rodgers was rusty as any great QB would be with 2 months out. He just has to play better to move on in the playoffs.

He was wide open. Good God, use you eyes. Any QB would have thrown that. And on the 3rd down play rightbefore, the one where he was almost intercepted, he missed Jones wide open for a TD as well. Even the announcers said the Bears got away with it.

Why lock the thread? I am speaking the truth. If you are that delusional to think he played well then you didn't watch the game

He was open because Rodgers was running for his life. Minimum 25/32 starters never know he's there. Rodgers literally turned and bombed it.

Sad that the Bears lost on a day in which Cutler actually outplayed Rodgers for a change. Horrible bears defense, and all the blown calls by the officials that went Green Bay's way.

Bullshit. He easily avoided the futile sack attempt by Peppers. Lots of guys would have avoided that. Only the most stationary QB such as Schaub or Palmer get sacked there.

Cobb was almost open at the start of the snap. The defender sat on what he thought would be a short route and never even considered that it would go long. I mean if you watch the replay, Cobb is putting up his hand for the ball a few steps into his route.

Rodgers made a great play with the game on the line. But he had 2 costly INTs and would have been intercepted 4 times if Bears defenders caught the ball. No one in their right mind thinks a QB had a good game when he made 5 big mistakes. The fumble that he was LUCKY to have returned for a TD, and 4 bonehead throws. Rodgers would not have been in position to win the game if not for freak luck. Cutler didn't make bonehead throws and outplayed Rodgers. The football Gods were simply on Green Bay's side today.

He hasn't played in half the season. He still made the plays that mattered and won them the game when it counted. Cutler didn't.

Don't get it twisted. That's not an easy throw to make. He was rolling to his left and had to chuck it 40+ yes downfield. Not many qbs can do that with the accuracy he put on it.

I was being sarcastic. Most guys don't even know Cobb exists when they're forced to bail out of the pocket that fast.

Well cutler did. But then their shit D gave up the game winning drive. I don't wanna hear that he still had time after the td. 38 seconds is hardly enough time to get a good drive downfield.

Well Rodgers still had the entire left side of the field to roam. No one else was coming at him and Cobb happened to be on the side he rolled to. Still a helluva throw he made.

quarterback takes advantage of the gifts given to him, like field position ( from Hester) big plays (Marshall, Jeffrey, Forte) and turnovers by G.B. Cutler didn't lose this game but he didn't win it either. The issue here, is he wants to be payed like an elite qb, and he continues to come up short in big games. Just like he did in Denver. He is an ok quarterback with a great arm. Not an elite qb by any stretch

I agree with your take on Cutler. I disagree with you assessment on Rodgers. He won the game in the end but was far from sharp vs a terrible defense. If a QB gets an A for getting the opportunity in the end and delivering even though he played poorly most of the game, the Tebow would have several A games from 2011. That is a more extreme example but the same argument
