Hey guys, just getting in and saw the score. WTF? Can the Heat* "fans" please tell me WTF happened? This is the team you're predicting will win the Championship this season?

they may not. this is a long NBA season. Injuries happen. Playoff upsets happen. Im not really sure how long youve been an NBA fan.. but there is no guarantee Atlanta doesnt throw an upset on the Pacers in round 2. There is no guarantee Lebron/hibbert/west/wade/granger/george/bosh dont blow a knee and miss the playoffs...
Again.. I will worry about Indy IF we play you in the playoffs. As long as Miami is healthy, I have confidence we win. I already have a bet with CL to that fact (except the health of the Heat wont get me out of that bet).
Nothing is set in stone. Both teams still need to win 8 games before playing each other
TurnUp, you're as arrogant as one of those Patriots fans who think that every opponent is "playing their Super Bowl this week." Congratulations! You barely beat a very bad team today and now you're acting like they should hand the rings out now.
Look in the rafters, my friend and count 'em.
just another regular season game, so please don't make me laugh. you can TRY to tell me they tried to get to another level of play because it was the Heat, but i ain't buyin'...
lol, you'll make ANY stretch you can to make the Heat look good, won't you...?
Whatever helps get you through the night.
Nobody in their right mind ( which explains what you are claiming), would dispute that all teams, especially bad ones, get extra hyped up to play the Heat.
Lakers are/ were no different.
You guys on several occasions this season have accused the Lakers of packing it in, not bringing enough effort, etc.
The Lakers played hard for 48 minutes today. Showed emotion numerous times after hitting 3s, and as the announcers pointed out were getting most of the 50/50 loose balls, rebounds because of their effort.
By the end of the game, the Heat had them measured and did enough to secure the win.
If your moral victory is covering a point spread, great. Go celebrate it up!
oh NOW you've done it...
expect the "Lakers fan holding onto the past" post in 3...2...1...

well, let's see. regular season game in December. seems to me it's YOU who isn't quite in the right frame of mind(bet THAT'LL shock some people around here...NOT!). just puttin' that out there...

hard to bring that EVERY game. it IS an 82 game schedule, after all. we see it when it's there, and will point it out if it's not, so what's your point...?

and...?

I heard all future Laker games have been move to the history channel because all their fans want to do is talk about the past...
Did this meet the criteria?
the title argument is annoying to me because no one is arguing that the Lakers arent NBA royalty or that somehow the Heat have surpassed the history of the Lakers. Heat have been around 25 years. 3 titles in 25 is not bad. The Lakers have 5 in that time. Even more impressive. The bulls have 6. It's cool. No franchises in the NBA rank on the level of the C's and Lakers. I just fail to see where that is relevant for this year. In 2013-2014 the lakers and C's arent relevant.

I don't follow the a Patriots, or read their threads, but I do know they haven't won a Super Bowl since the 2004 season. Seems to me like a lot of teams have beat them when it counted, so I don't see how it correlates to the Heat.
The Heat have lost one series since the Big 3 united.
That's a pretty good run, and still currently going......
Anyway, where did I act like anything ?
All I said was the Lakers brought their A game today, as most teams do whenever they are playing the Heat.
I was pretty much just pointing out the obvious.
Now, please show me where the handing out rings comment came from?
You're just making shit up.
Kind of like when you said Allen wasn't fouled the other night even though there was visual evidence in front of your face.

Lakers fans were really expecting the heat to kill them today? You must not watch a lot of the heat games. The heat doesn't destroy many teams ever. Most Heat games are decided by 15 or less. At the end of the day this isn't the BCS.
considering how much effort you're putting into this spin of "the Lakers had to play out of their minds to hang with the Heat" i kind of already am. guess i should thank you for the extra Christmas gift of another good laugh. it IS good for the soul, after all...
k, i'll take a shot at this one. why would i watch a lot of Heat games anyways...?

You are fucking hilarious.
wow, am i indeed? well, with practice, focus, and lots of hard work i can one day achieve YOUR level of hilarity, little man...
Laker fans were the ones predicting being blown out.
k, let's take this one from the top. Lakers fans said they'd change the channel if the game was a blowout. to which you "brilliantly" used to accuse the whole Lakers fan base here of bandwagonism. i CAN put the posts up again if you'd like. they were about the same time you accused this site of being anti-Heat AND crying about how 29 fan bases are rooting against you like a jilted teenaged girl with a bad case of zits...
Seems to me like you should be addressing them with the playing out of their minds to hang with the Heat bullshit.
what? with you putting so much effort into making this spin to begin with? thought you weren't into drugs...
Show me where I ever posted or agreed with a blowout prediction.
didn't say you did. but hey, nice reach. DO keep up the good work...
I see every Heat game. Most games, their mindset seems to not being concerned about margin of victory.
They believe they can grind out games and find a way to win them down the stretch.
It's happened numerous times this season already and it happened again today.
