I dont know how old you are. but the old Miami arena was getting filled back in the mid nineties when it was Hardaway/Zo/ PJ Brown/ leonard and Mashburn. Miami has had a pretty good NBA fan base. look up those names. Thunder Dan is still the MAN!

I just realized this thread is going to be ridiculous with these 2 fan bases...until the Lakers are down by 18 and the Laker fans realize they have family members to get them through this rough christmas they have been having for years.


Also, just streaming it but I actually really like the uniforms. Mostly for the simple large logo. Still think the sleeves are completely unnecessary but trying to figure out how the jersey would look with out them...think they need sleeves.

Yea & I remember when Dr Buss Bought The Lakers & LA Kings & made the The Great Western Forum showtime, The NBA at that time in the 80's was struggling all NBA playoff game weren't even being telvised, only replayed & Dr Buss changed all that, he added court side seats, cheerleaders, Darken the arenas to make the court stick out more & the NBA at 1st did not want none of this, but he stuck to his guts & now every NBA team copies what the Laker did & make a game be entertainment, Laker fans have been around through good & Bad times, so i'm sure there is also pretty good fan base also, do you remember all this ??

My take so far is LeBron isn't having to do much. I expect wade to take over game at some point. In a game last year wade scored like 22 straight points to start 4th while LeBron sat on bench. I'll expect the same sometime in late third early 4th

Agh the bar that always shows basketball and used to be able to show more than the same channel on its 14 fucking tvs is showing some stupid euro soccer bullshit, have never hated soccer more than now
