Nope dont have Tebow, have someone better.

Sorry Tebow was one of the most effective quarterback of all time and everyone outside of the state of Ohio knows that...Miller isn't even on the same page. Didn't see Miller at the Heisman??????

Is that why Tebow is tearing it up in the NFL right now?

I despise Tim Tebow for obvious reasons, but he was arguably the best college QB of all time. Braxton is not on the same level as Tebow. Braxton is really good, but not even close. Sorry OSU guys.

Tebow won the Heisman because FL had no running game his So. year. Meyer used him to run instead of the back. Meyer now has backs he can use and not put the QB in the same harms way like he had to with Tebow. Just a more complete team is the only reason Miller does not have the numbers Tebow did.
Tebow was great, not taking anything away from him. He did very well in his situation.

You think "the most effective quarterback of all time" would be able find a place on some team. With all of the injuries that Green Bay has had, if Timmy was that "effective" would have got a call. Maybe it is he had a great line and great wide receivers that made him look better because he is just a slightly bigger Denard Robinson.

Slightly bigger Denard Robinson? Umm...try fucking huge compared to Robinson. Tebow was a TE playing QB in both college and the NFL. Nick Marshall and Cam Newton are the two recent or current QBs who were like Tebow.

I hate sticking up for Tebow, but he was a true dual threat QB who could also run your ass over when he was running. No needing to try to make you miss with a move. He could do that too.

As far as making an NFL team. He could make a team in a heartbeat if he would switch positions. He is a hell of a football player, but is not an NFL QB. Bringing up the NFL is kind of foolish for me.

Again if he is the "most effective quarterback of all time", then there should be no need to switch positions. I know you didn't say that but it still doesn't change the fact that he was a gimmick QB who had horrible mechanics and couldn't throw accurately. I bring up the NFL because he said nothing of college, he said "the most effective quarterback of all time". If he was that "effective" somebody would pick him up. Just another in the long line of great college quarterbacks who can't find a job despite being in his prime.

I think we have as many national championships as them both combined. they suck us off. but I am a proud Floridian! please point out what state has done better. I am listening... the capital of football is Florida

You may have as many NC's but you only have one BCS NC. FSU also has one and Florida has 2 (which is as much as both Miami and FSU combined... right now).

You are correct about his mechanics. The sad part is that even with his piss poor mechanics he was quite accurate in college. 67.1% completion while averaging 3,000 yards in his 3 years as a starter. Also threw 28 TDs per year and only 5 INTs per year. With a passer rating of 166.8 over those 3 years. H had such success due to his OL giving him time to throw with his slow ass delivery.

I guess I am wondering why you are arguing with him about the NFL on the CFB Forum. He is correct for college.

No one said anything about the pros. If you could understand that the more effective college quarterbacks, guys who can really run, generally do not last in the Pros. Not one person associated with the teams down here that had to deal with Tebow would agree with what you have stated. Actually I really don't need to explain this to you as you have always had a difficult time with anything Florida....and that OK...only problem...you come out with some ignorant statements at times. Sorry.

I may need new contacts, but can someone show me where the word "college" was ever stated in this post.

Now you are being just plain ignorant. The topic is BCS titles and we were speaking of college quarterbacks. Maybe a reading comprehension course is in your future?????

do people really still wonder why the Big Ten and big 12 are dying? it is simply because they're not in the southeast

Boy please. Miami can't even compete in the ACC, you boys would be sharing the basement with KU in the Big 12. Stick to sucking that Gator and Seminole dick.....

One king of college football right now. State of Alabama... 4 straight NC's with a possible 5th(hope not) and 3 out of the last 4 Heisman winners associated with State of Alabama (either lived or went)!

Teams win titles, not states. If Bama and AU had to rely on homegrown talent from the state of Alabama, you boys would have to drop football altogether or drop to D1AA. Now, if you were winning BCS titles with nothing but home grown talent the way USC, Texas, UF and FSU have, then you can claim how the "State of Alabama" is the king of CFB. Hell, you boys aren't even using coaches that hail from your state. If I was a Bammer, I would just brag how my school has owned CFB the last 5 years and brag about winning 3 out of the last 4 BCS titles. Why would you want to share the limelight with your rival? Fucking pathetic......

Teams represent states dumbass! It's called state pride. Texas has it for some unknown reason. Oh yea, because it's big and still can't win NC's in football. How has all those other hundred schools in Texas done in winning NC's with all that Texas talent? What is "Fucking pathetic......" is your post! TexasExes with his big ass Texas ego has nothing so he writes the above. You can down play it all you want but most people would think that is pretty impressive with all those straight national championships and majority of Heisman winners from one little state but no, not big bad ass Texas who has won ONE national championship in the past 40 years! :L
