What case are auburn fans trying to make? An offensive shoot out is more valuable than a defensive game? I dont see where your connecting the dots.

Defensive games are only good in the SEC. Otherwise it's just bad offenses.

So? Where are the style points? Where were the style points in the SECCG? They sure as hell weren't on the defensive side of the ball.

I am not some SEC honk.


But, it was heavily debated all week long.


It was not some insane idea. There is a lot of push for the 1-loss Auburn Tigers.


Ohio State needed to win ....and possibly needed to win with some style points to be safe


So far, the style points look out the window.


Unless they turn it on, they will still be debated all night long.


I think they need to win by at least 10 points to feel truly safe.

Why do you need style points in the conference champ. game against a 1 loss team who's #10? All things are not equal here. What people are saying is that every non-sec team automatically has a loss going into the season, which is a load of BS. All you can do is win your games.

I've been saying this about B1G teams for a long time. It's the culture of the players. Too many stupid angles, bad snaps, and brain freezes. Personally I think they sit around playing XBOX after practice too much. The weight room can't make up for hours spent playing pickup games and training themselves to react with kinetic and spacial awareness.

Get OFF your couches and play sports kids.
