Player Efficiency Rating (PER)

Thought I would post some notable stars player efficiency rating just to see how well they're playing early in the season.


Chris Paul - 37.56 (league leader)

LeBron James - 23.39 (league leader the last 6 seasons)

Derrick Rose - 1.96

Kirk Hinrich - 2.18 (higher PER than D. Rose)

D Rose is playing like crap. I know he hit the game winning shot but his shooting numbers are terrible.

D. Rose more game-winning shots this year than LeBron and Wade combined.

Rose is off to a hot start in PHI tonight...2-5 from the field...that's 40%...much higher than the 28.9% he's shooting for the season.

CP3 is on fire this year, LBJ has not played well this year, neither has his team obviously. He plays the nice guy card trying to get every one involved, I was really hoping he would be selfish this year.

As for Rose, 1st game he has played in forever. He will knock the rust off and get back to game speed soon. Also his team spent a whole year playing with out him, they have to readjust as well.

LeBron is averaging 23 ppg, 9 apg, 6 rpg, on 53% from the field...he's also only giving about 75% effort...I'd say he's doing alright.


As far as Rose goes...he looked great in the preseason...not buying the rust excuses.

Update: Rose is now 3-11 from the field after starting the game 2-2...he's missed 8 of his last 9 shots.

Rose now has a PER of 1.74.

Hinrich now has a PER of 6.99.

South and SE parts of town got it really bad. Anywhere around Onion Creek got hella flooded.
