The crappy teams in the league usually don't have the best homefield advantages partly because they don't have the talent but also because fans don't like to pay to see their team lose. There have been games on the road for the Broncos where they have had just as many fans in the stands as the home team so in reality it becomes almost like a home game for them.

It is not an excuse to want to see if Seattle can actually beat a contender on the road in case they would actually have to do this in the playoffs and especially considering if they would make the Superbowl it is at a neutral site. Like I said they have played now what I would consider 4 games on the road against either playoff teams or potential playoff teams (Colts this year). They are 1-3 in those games with losses to San Fran, Atlanta, and the Colts. The lone win was against Washington who had their starting quarterback go down early in the game. Now I think with the way the schedule sets up Seattle has a good chance to get homefield throughout the playoffs so maybe they won't have to worry about this issue until the Superbowl.

You missed the point. YOU obviously can't stop thinking about the 49ers. Your team is in first place, whooped my team, two consecutive times and yet, you are thinking about Niner fans. :L

This thread has absolutely nothing to do with the 9ers. I dont think Im the one here who is obsessed.

a lot of insecurity found amongst the Hawks faithful I see

why does any fan give a shit about what another team's fan says about the team they root for??

That is maybe the third time i have seen you post that,,,interesting.

It's fine when your team shouldn't be answering the same questions.

It's not about questioning, there is always Q's,it is the overall tone that many display towards Seattle and as has been repeated numerous times and if you have spent anytime on the ESPN boards (Which i know you have) over the years and now here it is so obvious that us Seattle fans have to put up with a large group of tards that post anything and i mean anything to try and just rub us in some way.

I agree that the Broncos should answer the same questions and this week will be a good test to see where they are facing the Colts.

Last year the Broncos struggled at the beginning of the season losing to Atlanta and New England on the road but finished strong beating both Baltimore and Cincinnati on the road so they had a somewhat mixed bag. I am interested to see if this year they can be a bit more consistent on the road.

I understand that as yes I was on the ESPN boards and got to see that. I also saw Seattle people going to other boards though stirring things up. It stinks that a few can then cause the trolls of other boards to come over and dominate the Seattle board with no consequences for trolling. The Broncos had a few trolls that would take over every once in a while and yes it brought the quality of the board down big time.

Considering though there are a ton of Seattle topics on the General Board (some by Seattle fans some by opposing fans) it open the Seahawks up to criticism. I don't blame you for thinking your team is great as I agree they are one of the top 3 or so teams in the NFL right now. Being at the top though means others are going to try and knock you down and it is just the way it goes with success. Seattle keeps answering every question about this team and I am sure they will answer this one about winning on the road against a good team.

Look, the point he was making is we have always heard that Seattle can't beat anybody on the road and at times that was correct. Now they are at least beating the teams they are supposed to on the road. It is progress and they are thumping their chests over it.

Packer, are you suggesting there are no other teams fans up here thumping their chests? Only thing new here is it isn't normally a Seattle team at this point. How many of these would there be if SF was leading the NFC? Double? Triple? Seattle may not know how to act like they have been there before because they haven't been there before. Simple enough to understand?

As for road games remaining I would think they should win 3 of the last 4 with the game @SF probably being a loss, but who knows how healthy both teams will be that late in the season. If that holds my guess is they finish 13-3 with a last game of the season loss at home because it's a game that doesn't matter and no starters play. Given their injuries on the o-line an upset along the way wouldn't shock anyone in which case they probably win that last game out of need (pending what NO has as a record).

The problem this year is the entire NFC is down. Atlanta? Playoff team last year in the dumps. SF? certainly not out of anything, but had a tough couple of games and hasn't looked as explosive and dominating as last year. GB? Glaring problems, but of course still have AR. Chicago? Their only double digit win was against a pathetic Steelers team. At least their only two losses came against quality teams but still. NYG? WTF happened to the giants? Garbage pail team. Washington? A playoff team last year with 1 win this season. Philly and Dallas? 3-3. That division might end up with an 8-8 division winner.

Seattle and NO are the best two teams over the first half of the season and there are 3-4 teams right behind them, but none are dominating. Unless Manning gets hurt the top team in the league is Denver by far. Might even argue that KC is ahead of any NFC team at this point.

Way too early to know how the league will shake out for the post season, but at almost the half way pole Seattle and NO are battling for whoever will end up losing to Denver in the SB.

I understand that most who would go to other boards were only there to stir up trouble instead of actually have good football conversation. I was just stating why many came to the Seattle boards to talk trash as it did seem there were more Seattle trolls than any other group on the ESPN boards that last year. San Fran might have been a close 2nd.

Like the Chargers?

I don't think many Colts fans are going around on message boards beating their chest about how great a team they are and how disrespected they feel because they can't beat legitimate playoff contenders on the road.

No, but I can think of one fan that said "anyone can beat garbage on the road".

And dont give me shit about how good the Chargers are. They're 3-3 because they beat the Colts. The Cards would be 4-3 if they beat the Hawks, the Panthers would be 3-3 if they beat the Hawks.

6-2 in their last 8 road games.

I guess the only leg so many haters had to stand on is gone. What's next? Gonna break out the "How many rings you got" argument that the 9ers trolls love to use?

This thread has absolutely nothing to do with the 9ers. I dont think Im the one here who is obsessed.

Why are you making this about the Colts? This thread is about the Seahawks and their inability to take care of business on the road against legit teams. Butthurt much?

If I was going around starting threads stating how good my teams was on the road against garbage teams, then your San Diego refute would have some merit to it.

I guess you need a lesson on what the point of a thread is. I also used a question mark. Are you gonna insist this thread is all about question marks next?

Try staying on topic buddy

I'm not even remotely a Seahawks hater but my god every other thread in here seems to be an insecure fan trying to convince us they're not terrible and everybody is wrong. Just enjoy your success.

Judging by all the activity on the Colts board, I can't say I'm surprised
