Kobe won five championships because he was better player. Kobe won gold medal in to international Olympics because he was better. Kobe made the all star games every time because he was better, Kobe made the all time defensive team almost every year because he was better. McGrady was good player, but He was not a Kobe Bryant. He had the best center in the NBA and yet he still failed to utilize that to get to the finals the way Kobe used Shaq Oneal and Pau Gasol - that takes talent, skill and ball iq that McGrady was missing upstairs

In McGrady's best season 2002-03, he averaged 32.1 and in that year Kobe averaged 30.0, that's not really a complete comparison without the rebounds, and assists, and other things, but considering that McGrady had 5 years in a row where he was dismal failure - the only thing this thread is doing is TROLLING BY A MASTER
