Thats proof? why not just be completely stupid and make the comparison look like this...

RG 2013 REC 0 YDS 0 TD 0
JG 2013 REC 27 YDS 458 TD 6

And then we can look at those number and pretend that a TE doesn't also block and simply announce a winner. (yawn)

I will say this though..... Gronkowski is starting to look like a mama's boy.

Don't know what you guys are talking about but Tony Gonzalez is the best tight end in league. He is also the best ever.

Sorry.

Well...he's obviously not the best in the league right now, but he definitely is the best ever and much better than he should be in his 17th year in the league.

He doesn't have a say. We don't need him now and want no part of the risk of re-injury.

UM no, he is old and slow. Great hall of fame player, but his prime is well past.

sorry. I think he can be in the debate, but obvious best TE in the league right now? no

You don't need him now? Maybe you watched a different four patriots games than I watched this year. You are the worst 4-0 team by FAR in the league.

Gronk > Graham. Not really a debate when Gronk is healthy. Now? Sure.

There are other guys like Jared Cooke or Jordan Cameron who are equally as talented as these two, maybe more in those systems.

I think most would agree with this.

The ones that like excuses and playing the injury card probably do. Those that understand durability factors in when judging a player probably don't. I also factor in off-field headaches and general stupidity.

They are not black, are big this has a lot to do with why they are so much better. Cameron is joining this group as well. And if he had a QB who could throw to him, Rudolph.

Let me paraphrase.

Gonzo-hispanic
Chandler-white
Olsen-White
Cameron-White
Witten-White
Daniels-White
Rudolph-White
Gronk-White
Graham-half white
Miller-White
Gates-Black, but one of a few
Davis-Black, but CK hardly looks his way except for the bigger games.

Davis and Gates are rare exceptions, but all the other leading black tightends have had issues with not playing up to par. Finley would be a joke on any team that isnt as good as the packers. I want to mention Julius Thomas but he had a show off game week 1, I don't think he is playing as good as the other tightends because he isnt breaking away with such speed as the others. Tightend requires more strength than a receiver or runningback. They are the players a qb throws to usually in crucial situations, and on third downs.

Gronkowski still isn't playing this week. Is it time to call it like it is and label this guy as selfish?
