Asia might be different but in Europe the two American franchises I saw the most merchandise (by a wide margin) were the Yankees & Bulls
Bulls?

3. Dallas Cowboys Americas Team
Aren't you forgetting about the Yankees with their 25 WS championships? Lakers are probably second, though.
Yes, one more banner, but most of those are so old they are chiseled on stone. Lakers have been a much more consistent franchise, and that is what Doc was talking about. Lakers are only irrelevant for maybe 3-5 year stretches at a time not 20 years of dormancy.
LOL
Real Madrid has won their league 32 times. Been runner up 21 times.
That is not including other championships they have won and it totals over 30 including 3 world championships.
Americans and their quaint idea's of history. No AMERICAN TEAM should ever be considered for a GOAT franchise discussion because of soccer. There are hundreds of clubs per country competing in multi national competition for over 100 years. American sport's history does not compare. And when you discuss GOAT franchises exactly what you are debating is history.
Most of us couldn't care less for soccer. You have your fun with it but I couldn't care less about that boring game between 5 foot panzies and panty-weights.
