Look you cant not play your starting QB all preseason and expect him to pick up at a probowl level after major Knee reconstruction.
its going to take some time to get RG3 in the groove

Its time for a come to Jesus meeting in Ashburn. And the only way I see Haslett keeping is job is for this defense to seriously have a turn around in the next week.

Our interior OL cannot pass protect. Montgomery continually gets pushed back into RG3, collapsing the pocket. He is just too small and weak to handle the big nose tackles. They do OK in zone blocking. RG3 just isn't back. He IS rusty. He has started very slow both games. We have got to get him outside the pocket on designed rollouts or bootlegs.

Our defense is actually worse than last year. Fletcher is non existent. He had 1 tackle all game. He has finally lost that step that keeps him from closing on RBs. Our rookies look terrible (expected, I guess). Did Bowen even play today? I never once saw him on a play. We knew we were still challenged in pass defense, but we cant stop the run. Kerrigan is the only bright spot on D right now. We have given up well over 1000yds in 2 games. at this pace, we could be the worst defense ever. Think Megatron will be licking his chops to play against us next week? Hell, we couldn't tackle GBs WRs, no way we bring Megatron down. He may have 200 yds against us.

It appears that we are in for another long season.

Just out of curiosity, what bad decisions have they made with RG3? Would you have played him in preseason or not played him in the first 2 games?

I'm not defending the staff, but the skins are killing themselves on the field on offense. Combine that with the rust RG3 has, and the stupid turnovers and we don't have a chance against high powered offenses like we have played the first 2 weeks.

I won't even get into our defensive efforts (if there were any).

I saw the game and I just shook my head. At first, we were putting pressure on Aaron Rodgers, which led to some 3 and outs. On one of their series, Kerrigan had two sacks in a row and Rak had one on another. However, the secondary just could not cover a twin bed and the rest of the defense could not stop the run. Then, on offense, the Skins could not convert 3rd downs and that led to three and outs. Of course, that led to the defense getting tired, which led to missed tackles and sloppy play by the defense. Pierre Garcon (8-143-1TD) and Alfred Morris (13-107) had good games, respectfully. Still, this team has to start converting on 3rd downs. Not to mention, the tackling and the coverage has got to get better or it's going to be a long season.

You mentioned how we have gone against two high-powered offenses. Well, it gets know easier, next week. We play against the Lions. The last time we played that team, it was a disaster. Matt Stafford and Megatron will certainly have a career game against this secondary. Gotta watch Reggie Bush, as a runner and pass-catcher, as well.

I agree, why aren't they moving Griffin more. He is not Peyton Manning or Tom Brady.
