Just heard about Lewis. Man, that is sad. Lewis has to call it a career. Not sure how effective and for how long he can be again. The guy has always seem to be battling upstream.

You mean Yu, Kershaw....right, lol? I'm sure that as of today, most baseball people would go Kershaw, Yu, but in my book they are dead even

Kershaw gets the advantage b/c of the walks and usually pitches deeper into games

Darvish projects for 4 fewer starts and 47 fewer innings, meaning even if you gave Darvish those 4 extra starts, he would have to average almost 12 innings per start to catch him, but averages 3 more pitches a game (that's not a good thing)

kershaw is a much more effective starter at this point and going forward, he's still younger than darvish

Lol yu can very much be better if he goes deeper with the great k rate IMO but as of now Kershaw is better. Would be the best 1-2 punch ever! Since Johnson and schilling

Hey, a man can dream :)

Jokes are one thing but don't be one of those guys in the offseason that makes a serious post every week about signing Kershaw, and debating on how it works, its not happening

Just say no to Bautista, everything else I'm good with

agree. would also add Stanton to the list with CarGo, because it seems like the Rangers were checking at least once a week to see if Miami would be open to a trade. but that might cost us Profar or Andrus and Perez and i'm not crazy about giving up Perez.

re-sign Garza. go with Yu, Holland, Garza, Harrison and Perez

Well they did explore that so don't be suprised if they do again

I wasn't advocating going after kershaw at all if you actually read my posts, Someone claimed that Kershaw and Yu were even in his book, I was pointing out why Kershaw would far and away be a #1 over Yu

Yea but we have a zillion bytes already spent on a potential Stanton deal so we don't need to start that again in the offseason. It just makes for a long annoying winter.

Aside from COF TEX is about as pure as STL is developing all its own talent ... and there are TEX-built COFs coming ... just not right just yet.

What big bat do rangers go after in the offseason?
What about Tavares from the Cards? It might take a little sweetener on top of Profar, but a nice deal for both sides IMO
