People have tried to tell him, but our friend, Wiz, doesn't plain old doesn't get it. It's not like he's stupid, Lord, he could write a Russian novel with all his verbiage. He just doesn't understand how Boise, as a team committed to moving up, not just getting a paycheck, views the college football scene.

It isn't about teams being afraid to come to Boise, never has been, but frankly, if you left it up to the money grubbing AD's, and the cowardly coaches (who'd rather play all their OOC games against FCS teams), not one of them would ever come to the Blue. It's about the business that football has become. And it is not good for the sport.

I don't think that our friend Wiz has even the slightest idea of what Boise has been able to do. Not many former junior colleges are now inhabitants of the top 25, year after year. Not many small market teams get so much national attention as the Broncos do. Indeed, we Boise fans seem to attract a passionate bunch of detractors.

Wiz, it isn't about whether or not UW backed out of a commitment to play in Boise, in the past or in the future. It's about how most big schools look at the Boise's of the world. It's about a system in which money and status both trump talent. We tire of being viewed as that "cute little team" that seems to constantly overachieve. That was fine in 2006, but Boise has been on the scene with teams that win, year after year. What Boise wants is a seat at the table. No offense, but they've earned it. We are tired of being forced to open every year on the road to some major school, even though the trips are a lot of fun. It's time to have the favors returned.

I know, I know, most schools don't want to come to Boise, not enough money, and a damn good chance that they'd lose. But go ahead, wrap yourself in your Husky gear, I seriously doubt that you can even get the overriding point.

Here's to a good game in Seattle. We may not win, but you'll get all that the team, and the fans, have.

Peace.

Maybe Boise should just quit trying to impress the college football world, and just play who you wanna play. Hell Utah didn't need to go out East and play Jawja, or Mich State, or virgina to prove a point. they stayed in the west and played everyone they could in the PAC10, and BIG12, and Notre Dame. Hell thats the farthes east Utah traveled in 2010 was to South Bend. Maybe that would help getting you there to sit at the table you guys so drool over. :suds:

And now Wiz uses my supposed language and falsely perceived attitude as an excuse to rip Boise and some other poster, and then claims he didn't do it?

Like I said, no sense even trying to discuss things with him. I wrote a specific response to each of his points, and it fell of deaf ears. Look, I get where you are coming from, Wiz. But you aren't even close to understanding my points. All you read is your preconceived notions. Nah, you don't want to discuss, you want to read your own posts, over and over again, no doubt.

Fair enough, but no matter how many paragraphs you write,

You're still wrong.

Peace.

This is the same stupid garbage you have been spewing for years. It's no wonder you have been voted the biggest troll many times back on cBS.

I never claimed I didn't do anything. I said I cussed at YOU not HIM. Why is that so hard for you to understand?

You most certainly did not post a response to ANYTHING I said. I asked you specific pointed questions and as usual you ignored them because the answers would have been inconvenient for you. You have been doing that same thing for many many years online and you flat out know it.

Amazing you claim I'm doing what you have been doing all this time lol. Just amazing. You have to be one of the most frustrating trolls of all time. Don't take my word for it, ask anyone who has ever had the misfortune of reading your drivel.

Guys like Bishop Sankey, ASJ, Kasen Williams, and Shaq Thompson to name a few are going to have very explosive seasons this year. All of them with the exception of possibly Sankey will most likely be first team, all conference IMO. Talented team. This should be Sark's best one. Tough road game.

The truth is Wiz, that Oregon, Oregon State and Washington State have all sacked up and made trips into Boise. Washington is the only PAC team from the Pacific Northwest that has not played Boise in Boise.

Wiz, now what the hell are you gonna do if Washington actually loses this game? Will you be here to take your take your beatin like a man? And you will be in for a hell of a beatin Wiz -- you know that, right. Maybe you'll make excuses for the loss?

Not saying this inaccurate but when have the Cougs played in Boise?

You guys came to the Blue and kicked our asses by three TDs in 2001 with Jason Gesser at the helm. That was a damn good team. As you know you all had a bunch of great teams in the late 90s to early 2000s.

If Boise wins, it is going to be a very close game. I just don't foresee Boise being able to beat UW by more than a touchdown. In that environment, with the crowd being as loud as it will be, and UW a much improved team, there is no way this game is a blowout.

I wonder tox, will you get as irate over Smiles use of language and verbiage toward non BSU fans? The terse language used was directed at him because we have said these things to him at least 100 times and that's not an exaggeration. I did not cuss at you.

It does not matter what my thoughts on Idaho are. Isn't relevant to the conversation. The question was what will traveling fans from other teams think of BSU vs any top AQ in terms of a destination they would want to go visit.

Now, you weren't happy with my use of language toward Smiles nor what you consider my views of your state, but then make plenty of assumptions about me and go way beyond defensive. You could have just as easily asked for what I meant and waited for me to say something to you before going there. Your last two posts to me appear to suggest you are just another overly paranoid and defensive mid-major fan with a huge chip on your shoulders. I won't actually say that is a fact as I don't have enough details to know you well enough, but that's the impression I get. Unlike your characterizations, I will give you the chance to respond before making a blanket assumption.

I don't understand why it seems most BSU fans get upset when an opposing fan dares to believe their team can beat yours. It really does confuse me to no end. Most fans believe in their teams whether there are justifiable reasons for it or not. I have been on record countless times as saying Boise State is a very dangerous team that is well coached and yet you characterize my views as saying your team is garbage. Real head scratcher. I have also said many times I wouldn't like UW's chances at smurf turf and would probably take UW by 1 on a neutral site. That's hardly saying bad things about your team. It is the circumstances of this particular game that leave me feeling so positive. That and the serious upgrades of the team over this off season. Who wouldn't like their team with those changes going into a brand new field that is sold out?

Good luck to you and your team. If you are coming for the game I hope you enjoy the new facility and that you aren't harassed by any of our fans. If not, then enjoy the broadcast of what will be one of the more interesting games of the day for the opening weekend.
First of all, I like SmilesID and he can defend himself just fine, maybe I jumped into your discussion with him out of turn..... for that I apologize, as for the rest.....
LOL! Paranoid? No ..a chip on my shoulder? Yes, but that comes from the big brother attitude that we Bronco's seem to get from every AQ fan base... I do not know if you can understand what it is like to be on the outside looking in, have you ever been the new kid Wiz? Has anyone ever told you you weren't good enough, were you ever the "new kid" in a neighborhood and have to prove yourself before anyone would hang with you? Sure it takes time to break into the clique that AQ's enjoy, but if the shoe was on the other foot AQ fans might understand a little better why we have a chip....

So Yes I have a chip and that is just part of the deal but when comments are made like "it's fucking boise" with a derogatory and disrespectful intent and you assume we need you to educate us, cause we is so stoopid that we cannot grasp what scheduling involves, nor that anyone could possibly find anything enjoyable about Boise during a game day visit is just asinine, pretentious, and an uneducated assumption imo, and exactly the kind of demeanor that we get from every opposing internet fanbase, not just from UW fans, so my apologies for being just a little defensive about my home town but it gets to be old hat fast!

I made no assumtions about you that you did not make glaringly apparent about your attitude towards us all by yourself. I simply made my observation and stated my opinion. Take it for what it is sir!
I am so glad you waited for me to respond before passing judgement upon my unworthy soul, do be lenient! :L

I absolutely have no problem with you being confident and proud of UW and it's chances for the football program and opening vs Boise State! As one of the teams I like and follow I also hope the Huskies do well this year but Sark has some personel challenges to deal with that should have never happened imo, but these are young men still finding themselves and they tend to make mistakes from time to time! God knows I had my little "slip ups"!

Thank you for the kind welcome to the upgraded stadium! Been there many times before and I cannot wait! BTW I did not have a problem with the Dawg fans last time Boise played at UW nor do I see a problem this time.
I know this post was a little snarky but seriously, Good luck to you and the Dawgs! and I mean that with true sportsmanship and respect intended for the teams and players and fans on both sides!

Go Bronco's!!!

My bad, I remember the curb stomping in 97, and I believe we played again but thought it was in Pullman. I know we have a home and home signed with you guys.

Translation: A guy I know forwarded this to me, probably as a joke. There will be plenty of BSU fans there. Bo will be at the Balcony that night with his Vandal butt buddies. He wishes the Aviators a great night, but will be tied up all night (literally) spanking Vandal monkies.

Actually, I would rather play poker. You will find me on the felt at either the Muck or Tulalip. A better venue for vintage aircraft is Paul Allen's Flying Heritage Collection. Both are great, at Flying Heritage you get up and close to the collection. Often men who flew the planes are their as hosts.

So you consider 58 to 0 a curb stomping? Oh, we'll yes then. So do I. :).

Bo, are you really an Idaho Vandal fan and too embarrassed to admit it?

No, I consider it a tight game. If memory serves me right, Mike Price stuck in the backups late in the 3rd quarter. That same backup group that won I believe 2 or 3 games the next season. But I didn't realize they went to Boise with Gesser and co in 01.
