Its not like we're going to run the offense through Drummond or anything but he is good enough to be a starting center NBA and has a high ceiling. He plays good D, rebounds well, gets steals, block shots and finishes well at the rim. His per36 stats are pretty good. His FT% is the thing that is really holding him back.

Of the 4 major sports basketball is the one I'm def more of a spectator and not an insider. I'm def that fan who wanted to see his MI guy get drafted. Big homer.

Monroe is a beast. Smith abd Jennings are overrated. They are now a better teambut still not great. I could see them maybe slipping into the 8th if that.

I agree. His 17 PPG is worth the money. Detroit has recently acquired 2 guys who can score.

Drummond was a beast in limited minutes before the injury last year. even if he is only ok Monroe can definitely play minutes at Center with Josh Smith playing 4 in that scenario.

Jennings is incredibly overrated. 17 ppg on 16 shots shooting 40% is NOT good. Its HORRIBLE. Almost anyone in the NBA could score 17 points on 16 shots and 3.5 free throws. Knight may not be anything special, but for those of you that think Jennings is some sort of "solid piece" or "good scorer" you are horribly mistaken. Like I said, one game he'll hit his shots then the next 3 he'll be a no show. Their is a reason he is a career 39% shooter.

If Smith is starting at the 3 then the team will have no spacing whatsoever. Expect Smith to jack up threes because he makes 1 out of 5. Actually that won't happen because the ball won't be leaving Jenning's hands. This team needs to just move out of the bankrupt hell that is Detroit.

The center we sign for depth for will probably never touch the court unless there is an injury. The center we just traded only played in blowouts or when Drummond was injured.

The team isn't in the city of Detroit. The team is in Auburn Hills about half an hour outside of Detroit. Auburn Hills is actually doing pretty well and is not bankrupt.

I imagine Smith, Monroe and Drummond will start together but will not share the court for any extended minutes. We have shooters as backups at the 3 and 4 and we could also go small.
